The current US Prison System has been one with many controversies. In this upcoming section, I will try to explain how the Prison System tied in with laws, policies and events such as:

• gun laws
• racial profiling
• economic deterioration of urban communities
• poor education system
• voting rights for felons
• prison labor,

create the continuance of slavery and the manifestation of modern black slavery by government institutions in profiting big business, corporations.
