Disclaimer: "A:B:C,D" is a series of poems about a particular section in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NYC, called "Alphabet City."  It spans from 14th St. to East Houston St. (north to south) and from Avenue A to Avenue D (west to east).

This series includes "The Alphabet Suite" with an introductory poem ("The Voice") and a poem for each avenue, all of which address the on-going
gentrification of the neighborhood where i was born, raised, and returned to live.

It is also about the need for younger generations to keep up the long tradition of Nuyorican poetry coming out of Loisaida, the Latino section of the area, and documenting occurences.
