71.  Feltmate, Peggy, "Electronic," unnamed and undated paper, probably circa 1968, ST VINCENT DE PAUL CHURCH CEMETERY, QUEENSPORT: Mrs Anastasia Walker, New Waterford, Jan 28 - The death of Mrs Anastasia Walker, 63, took place in the Sydney City Hospital at noon on Friday. She had been admitted the day before. A native of Queensport, N S., she as the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs William O'Leary. Twice married, both husbands, James George and Fred Walker , predeceased her, the latter about 15 years ago. She had resided in Victoria Mines for the past three years with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Roy Armsworthy. While here she was a member of St Alphonsus Parish. She is survived by four sons and two daughters.  Sons are Albert George of Louisdale; Eldon George, Petit De Grat; Herman  Walker, Armdale, Kenneth Walker, Toronto. Daughters are Catherine, Mrs Roy Armsworthy, Victoria Mines and Margaret, Mrs Allan Verchukok., RCAF, France. One sister, Mrs Vincent Cahoon (Irene) of Lynn Mass, and two brothers, Arthur in Queensport and William, Black's Harbour, New Brunswick , also survive. The remains were scheduled to leave last night from the V J MacGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford, and taken to Queensport, where they will repose at the home of her brother, Arthur. Burial will be held on Sunday afternoon with service at St Vincent de Paul Church in Queensport.

96.  Feltmate, Peggy, "Electronic," unnamed paper, hand dated 1955, PROBABLY QUEENSPORT CEMETERY: Struck By Tree - Queensport - Alphonse O'Leary, 64, was found Tuesday morning lying dead near a felled tree in The Backlands, about three miles from his Queensport home. The body was discovered by one of his two sons, who began a search for their father when he failed to return from a wood cutting expedition on Monday. Coroner Percy Moulton empanelled a jury and adjourned his inquest one week. Mr O'Leary had set out alone early Monday. When he did not return Monday his family became alarmed and began a search of the Backlands, a district he frequented on wood-cutting trips. Surviving besides his wife are seven daughters, Mrs Roy Dobson of Half Island Cove, Mrs Mary Casey of Queensport, Mrs Helen Turnbull in Ontario, Mrs Fancy of Liverpool, Mrs Durant of Pomquet, Mrs Percy George of Whitehead and Mrs Nick Carter of Queensport. two sons, Thomas and Osborne also survive. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

He was 46 years of age and had been enjoying excellent health until the time of his recent illness. Surviving besides his wife, the former Agatha Nancy O'Leary of Queensport, are four sons, Leonard, Harry, Arnold and Charlie, all at home and three daughters, Joan of Halifax, Sadie and Lorraine at home. Also surviving are his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Dobson of Half Island Cove and seven sisters, Mildred (Mrs. Fogarty), Hazel Hill; Blanche (Mrs. Jamieson), Queensport; May (Mrs Henderson), Truro; Alexis, Toronto; Thelma (Mrs. Davidson), Vancouver; Helen (Mrs. Davis), Bridgewater; Edrie, R.N. of Montreal, also four brothers, Borden at home, Donald and Basil of Halifax, and William, Jr., of Kingston, Ontario, also eight nephews and fifteen nieces survive. Remains are resting at his home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P. M. from Half Island Cove United Baptist Church with Rev. James Armstrong officiating. Interment will be in the United Baptist Cemetery.
