DIorama Tutorials:
This is a diorama editing tutorial. The first one here was made by a www.jptoys.com forum member, This is for editing rain on to your dioramas. Using a basic Photoshop Elements you can add "rain" to your dioramas. In theroy you can do the same with gimp. Gimp is a free photo editing software much like photoshop. See www.gimp.org for more details. UNDER CO Adding the Rain! 1) open the image you want to edit. In this case member trike123 opened up a darker compy picture. 2)Okay this step is alittle harder, first fill the layer with black, press D on your computer, Now add noise, (filter> noise>add noise. The amount of noise you add will be your rain My settings: Amount: 100% Gaussion:Checked Monochromatic:Checked
Now you have to change the noise in-to rain (Filter>Blur>Motion Blur My settings: Angle:-63% Distance, 16PX It should look something like this. 3) Change the blend layer of your layer to screen, and it should look like this.
4) Starting to look wet now arnt they? Well its almost done, you need to creat a new layer and add clouds (filter>render>clouds Change layer to screen/overlay and here is the final result
