My name is Rajasa but I am better known as Aminah. That is the name my husband gave me when we became muslims. It means "faithful and trustworthy". I'm from India and my husband is from America. How did we meet? Well, to make a long story short, my husband came to India to get married to a woman he had been corresponding with for several months. He couldn't find her and instead found me. We met each other on October 5th, 1998 and got married on October 11th the same year!
A year and a half later I came to America to live with my husband. And just 6 months after I arrived, both of us embraced Islam. How in the world did that happen?! Click here to read our story.
I am now a mother of three beautiful children.......Suleiman, Zainab and Rukhsana.
I am a stay at home mom. But I also work from home. I sell children's clothing on eBay.
I have a Masters Degree in English, and a Bachelor of Education degree. When I was in India, I used to work as a professor in a college. I also used to run English Speaking Classes from my home. I have even written a book called "30 Days Express English Speaking Course for the Hindi Speaker". This book can teach Hindi speakers how to speak English in just 30 days. It is based upon 12 years of teaching experience. And it works! I plan to produce books in other languages in future.

I know that running English Speaking Classes can help anyone make a lot of money, and that too working from home. Thousands of people want to learn how to speak English in India, and therefore this is a really good business opportunity. There is no reason why anyone should line up in long queues for jobs as teachers when they can become self-employed, and earn as much as they want. I am therefore going to provide unemployed English teachers an opportunity to solve their financial problems. I have a two week teacher's training program for English teachers that will teach them how to run English Speaking Classes. I plan to go to India soon for this work.
I have a lot of projects in mind. One of them is to build an orphanage in India. I have always wanted to do something for children, even when I was a teenager. It still remains a dream.
I do not want to dream. I want this orphanage to become a reality. And I want to do everything in my power to make it happen. In my vocabulary, there is no such word as "later". I don't know if there is a "later". My desire to open an orphanage is even greater now. Click here to read why.
My mission in life above all, is to educate as many people as I can about Islam. There is much about this religion that many people, including muslims, do not understand. Not that I am a scholar! I'm not! But I believe I can simplify a lot of things that seem complicated. I therefore started a newsletter a year ago. Actually two newsletters: "The Informed Muslim Newsletter" and "Beautiful Islam Newsletter." These newsletters were immensely successful. But just weeks after I started them, I became pregnant. I had to stop.
