MotorCycles: The only transport meant for the World today
Thinking of learning how to ride a bike ? Or intending to buy a motorcycle ?
Welcome to the motorcycle page. Whatever you see here is what i can recommend and what I can tell base on my knowledge.

If you wanna ride, you must be thinking of what kind of bike to get already. Maybe a Honda or Yamaha that can get you on the roads and anywhere in Singapore. As for me, I've tried Yamaha and Honda bikes. Not too much say about it, but they are cool and smooth =)

Let me get a short introductory about my life riding. I first started riding in 1997. My first bike is a Yamaha FZR 150, then I changed to a Yamaha RXK 135 cuz I was doing despatch work. After that I changed to a Honda 105 cuz I got into a motor accident. After I upgraded I changed to a Honda Shadow 400, finally settling down with a Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Custom.

You must be wondering what does it takes to ride a motorcycle. Let be brief you here. =)
First, you gotta get yourself to driving centers, 1st if SSDC(Singapore Safety Driving Center) located at Yio Chu Kang next to the firestation. 2nd is Bukit Batok Driving Center, you take the MRT, you can see the center from it. Lastly is Comfort Driving Center located at Ubi Avenue.

There are 3 classes for motorcycles. Class 2B, 2A and 2. What does it mean ? It means that Each classes you need to wait at least one year later to take the other, sounds ridiculous ? It is.

Class 2B, you will be learning how to ride a 200cc and below bike. You have to clear 5 internal circuits, that means the circuits are within the center itself, 1 circuit consist of at least 2-3 obstacles. Than follow by 3 road circuits, that means you have to ride outside the center on the main road. Of course there will be an instructor following. Finally you will be doing a revision of everything you learn and then you will be ready for the traffic police test.

For class 2A, you'll be riding a 400cc bike. The circuits are simple, just clear 3 circuits and thats it, you're ready for the traffic police test.
For Class 2, its the same as 2A, just that you're riding a 750cc bike to do the circuits.

Believe me, you will enjoy riding as long as you're in a group. Even alone you will enjoy too when its cool and all those.
