Paris, France  

This is a small collection of the images I have created while I lived in Paris, France for four months in 1996.

As time goes on, I hope to include more images of Paris on these pages. I have many more images which I think are worth other people seeing -- especially those who have never been to Paris.

I was sent to Paris on a business trip to upgrade all of my (then) employer's critical European clients to (what was at the time) the latest release of their retail and inventory control software. The original trip was scheduled to last only three months, but was extended when it was determined that the mission would require more time.

My trip to Paris was a very exciting one as I was being sent abroad alone to do a very important job in a foreign country where I knew no one and did not speak the language. (This was also a great photographic opportunity for me, one I was very eager to take advantage of).

While I was there most of my free time was spent exploring. My weekends were filled with long walks looking at this famous city and taking in an atmosphere which is totally different from that of any city that I have visited in the U.S. Thankfully enough, despite several warnings about the rudeness of the French people, I found them polite and friendly.

Someday, I hope to visit this city again, this time with my wife and children, so that they can see the places that I am only able to show them with my pictures.
