This photograph was taken from a park near the Eiffel tower. From beneath the legs of the tower, Place du Trocadero can be seen. At Trocadero street performers gather on the weekends to display their talents -- musicians, jugglers, dancers roller bladers, performers of all kinds can be seen here. Trocadero is also a popular gathering spot for street vendors and sketch artists -- some very good work can be seen there.
For a good deal of time during my stay, tarps had been draped over portions of the sides of the tower. This image was taken later in my stay, after the tarps had been removed and all of the tower revealed.
