The Alternate Visit to the Pet Shop
Before I begin posting all the new articles I've written up in my spare time, I'm sharing this alternate original version of the infamous Pet Shop dialogue found in the Three Blurgs page. I found it while looking around my hard drive and I don't really know why I posted that version instead of this one, but uh...whatever.
Salesman: Can I help you sir?
Me: Actually, you can. I�m looking to buy a cat, preferable black with gray streaks. Do you anything like that?
Salesman: Of course sir, follow me. Alright, is this what you were looking for?
Me: Yeah exactly, except that�s a shoe and I asked for a cat.
Salesman: Oh, so you don�t like the shoe?
Me: Well it�s kinda gaudy, but I�m really looking for a cat. Do you have cats?
Salesman: (furrows brow)
Me: Okay, the sign outside says PET STORE and there�s a banner on the door mentioning something about a sale on cats. Get me a fucking cat?
Salesman: Alright, what about this?
Me: That�s the same shoe. Do you work here?
Salesman: No, I�m a freelance salesman. I travel the country in the pursuit of commision.
