The Long Goodbye
Tragedy hits home as
the Leery household deals with the aftermath of Mitch's car accident. Family and friends gather around to
lend support as Dawson tries to come to terms with his last encounter with his
dad. Through it all, Dawson stays strong, maintaining a tight grip on his
emotions in order to support his mother and younger sister. Meanwhile, Pacey
puts past grudges aside and comes out of hiding on the boat to join the rest of
the Capeside gang in comforting the Leery family. As Dawson's friends try to do
and say the right things, Dawson begins to realize that bottling up his
feelings may do more harm than good.
