| Ok so nothing on this page will be all that late and breaking, but hell, why can't I think my life is exciting if I want to? And besides, I'm most likely one of the few people who looks at this page, so hell I think I will be exciting! |
| 6/8/01 I have to take the ACT tomorrow morning, at 8 am (gag me!!!!) I probably won't do that well because I'm a moron, but I guess we will see how it turns out! For those of you who aren't test savvy, the ACT is a national standardized test that most colleges require us to take. My best friend Morgan took them and got a 24, which is really good. Congrats Morgan! |

| 6/16/01 Well, I took the ACTs. They were pretty easy I think, I think I did pretty well, nothing too challenging, even on math, and I suck at math. So, I guess I was wrong. I'm leaving for journalism camp tomorrow morning, and will be gone til next Thursday. A week in college dorm suites with most of my closest friends. That should be a blast. Well, that is all for now. |
| 7/1/01 I got my ACT scores. I got a 27. That is pretty good I guess, most of my friends got like a 24. The highest you can get is a 36. I've been told that this is stupid, but I'm disapointed in my score. I felt like I did better than that, but I am pretty happy with that score for the first time I took the test. I will probably take it a couple more times before I am through. Camp was fun. There was a lot of fighting amongst my friends and I, but that is commonplace with us. I learned a lot more than I thought I would, so overall it was a success. |
| 7/15/01 I just got back from a few days at the lake with my family. We stayed in this really cool little resort town called Rockaway Beach. I spent most of my time there driving around on old country roads with my cousin Christina. It was like 100 degrees the whole time, but otherwise it was pretty fun. |
| 7/29/01 I guess August is pretty much upon us. It has been an interesting summer. I can't wait for school to start (August 16th) which I guess makes me odd. That's ok though. I can live with that. It's been pretty hot here in the Midwest. One of the hottest summers I can remember. But oh well I guess. I've been kind of busy lately, not doing much on the web, so nothing is really updated on this page. I should add more poems I guess, but to hell with it. |
| 8/14/01 School starts in two days. I'm excited. Mostly to be hanging out with my friends in the halls again, to sit and pass notes with Morgan, and to do newspaper work. I hate the pre school stuff though. I went shoe shopping last weekend. With a man, and we all know how that goes. I came home with two pairs of shoes, and I'm not sure what either one even look like. Nor if they actually fit, which most would find slightly important. Well, I guess that is all of my updates for now. |
| 9-2-01 I changed my mind about this school stuff. It sucks, and I have farrrr too much to do in a short amount of time. Newspaper is hell. Nothing is going right. School itself isnt too bad though. Classes are ok, I like most of my teachers. Being a senior is expensive though. |
| 11/13/01 Well, I just got back from a three day trip to Iowa and Minnesota, and I'm convinced my calling is the big rigs. I have the flu or some shit, and haven't been to school in a week. That kinda sucks. I'm slacking on senior stuff, no surprise right? Nothing too new in my life. |
| 1/17/02 Wow, it's my graduation year. How scary!! Five more months. I can't wait, and then I could wait forever. I got through the first half of my senior year with nothing less then a B- and my friendships in tact. I feel fairly successful... I guess. |
| 3/20/02 Well, next week will start my final quarter of high school. That is a scary thing. I can't wait to graduate though, I really can't. I just wish next year was more certain is all. I got back from Spring Break in Iowa with Morgan and Chris. That was fun and interesting, but in some ways hard because dealing with Chris's hyperactivity was too much on my nerves for four days. It was fun though, I saw alot of Iowa at least! |
| 9/17/02 Well I haven't updated in along dang time, and I've been doing a lot of work on this site lately so I thought I would update this too. High school ended four months ago and it was the most surreal day of my life. You know how we all said we'd always keep in touch and be friends forever? We lied. I still talk to Morgan and Hannah, thats about it. I guess that makes sense, we are the people who started the group, (along with Billie) and will probably be the ones to end it. I think we three could really be friends forever, not best friends, but keep in touch and get together occasionally and stuff. Right now life is weird. I'll get back to you when I have real updates. My birthday is in four days (September 21) yay for me hehe :) |
