The #4 Review

When opening the box the heli is all assebled, the following checks need to be done before flying: (The manual says that it can fly straight out of the box,and it can, these checks ensure a better flight). Straighten the main blades till they are 180deg from each other, adjust the tightness of the blades (tighten or loosen) so that when held horizontally and shook slightly they do not move out of place. Next is the flybar paddles, make sure they are aligned with the Rotating frame, the adjustment is done by holding the collet and twisting the paddles to the correct position. After plugging the battery Check that the swashplate is level both horizontally and laterally. Check the C of G by putting the flybar 90 deg to the longitudinal axis of the heli and move the battery accordingly to get a balance.
Between the motors pinion and the maingear there should be a slight clearance, loosen the main motor screws by 1/2 a turn and insert a piece of paper between the maingear and the pinion. Push the maingear and pinion together, tighten the motor's screws again, then remove the paper. That should leave some clearance.Pinion Adjust

I must say that flying this helicopter is a delight, the controls are crisp and smooth,it is responsive enough to let it handle like its larger counterparts. It will not be able to do any aerobatics but it can do fast forward flight, pirouettes and if enough height available hammerhead (stall turn) manouvers. The standard battery pack will give approximately 7-8 mins of fying. The charger that comes with it is an intelligent one,it can charge between 4-12 NIMH cells with auto cut off so no worries about damaging the cells. Recharging will take between 60-90 minutes. Its Gyro works nicely with no adjustments required, even if not a heading hold one it dampens yaw well with little drift as the battery discharges. This heli is very user friendly and quite forgiving in case of a crash when compared to its larger counterparts.

Upgrades to this helicopter are limited,my opinion is that it flies well as stock. The battery could be upgraded to a lipo 7.4V which makes the helicopter lighter and improves its endurance depending on battery capacity. An 11.1V lipo has been used should you want some more power, however it can be risky for its 4-in-1. The gyro becomes overly responsive with 11.1V. I do not recomend any upgrade that will increase its weight, doing do it will require more headspeed to fly and hence more damage should you crash.

Pro's & Con's

Cons:Very light so it will have to fly indoors.Outdoors with a very light breeze only.

Pro's:Simple Struture,Relatiely Crash forgiving,Parts are available and quite cheap.
