INDOOR FLYERS RULES

  1. Before your first flight, each Pilot must write his name and frequency on the frequency board. After this is complete, the transmitter must be kept outside with the rest of the equipment. Models should be built to a standard such that they will not fail under normal circumstances, giving particular attention to control surfaces and connections. Look for any radio malfunction such as jittery servos, glitches etc. If in doubt, Do Not Fly.

  2. Turn off all mobile phones, this has proven to cause a large ammount of interfierence on the models.

  3. Before switching your transmitter on, please ensure the correct frequency is displayed on the board,if more than one flyer on the same frequency delegate accordingly between you.

  4. Do not extend the transmitter aerial fully until you are standing in the pilots' Area.

  5. All pilots must be standing in the pilots' area to fly.

  6. No More than 2 Main flyers at one time, the pilots must stand close to one another and make sure they do not interfere with each other. Pilots learning and hovering are to do so in the top right corner and not fly further than 10ft or higher than 5ft.Pilots/Spectators are to remain on the flying side of the area ONLY. Do not cross or walk in the middle of the court.

  7. On completion of your flight, please return your transmitter and model promptly to the outside area to enable other fliers to take their turn.

  8. If you wish to set your model up,there should be no-one flying, useing your frequency. Whilst setting up your model do not extend your aerial fully unless you are adjacent to the pilots' box. On completion of setting up, your transmitter must be turned off.

  9. Flight times are limited to a maximum of 10 minutes to allow all pilots a reasonable number of flights.

  10. In general, the maximum number of fixed-wing models flying at any one time will be limited to one. This limit may be varied at Committee's discretion.

  11. In the event of any dispute, comitee member's decision is final.

  12. Pilots/spectators are entering and flying models at their own RISK.

Note: These rules are provisional and may be updated as events take place.
