Fort Wayne "Citilink" Transit is OLD!!! (Not really)... This horse-drawn wagon, featuring an old west version of the Citilink logo, operated as a go-between shuttle from Johnny Appleseed Park and Festival to the actual shuttle buses in the east parking lot of Johnny Appleseed Park. (Taken Sept. 25, 2003).

Positionned between two of Citilink's Access buses, the last 12 of the original 22 35 foot Flxible Metro's wait to be towed to a salvage yard in Chicago's south side. As seen from the photograph, some of them still wore the original PTC livery. These buses were in varying states of condition when I photographed them, January 8, 2003, some appearing as though they still had a few years left in them. Special thanks to Citilink for their assistance in allowing me to preserve these buses's roll signs, the last regular service vehicles to use them, as the current regular service fleet is 100% electronic.

Here's the line-up at the downtown (Superior St.) terminal, December 6, 2002. Each route is split in two, with their centre being here (except route 5, 21, and 22). All routes run hourly, departing here on the :15, except routes 7 and 8, which run half-hourly.
Not unlike most systems of this nature, "they all pull in, then they all pull out".
