Gig 142: Saturday, April 26, 2008. King Edward Hall, Bonnie Doon, Edmonton. With Un-Arm-Me and The House of the Holy Smoke. This is a rocking metal gig at a tiny hall in a residential area, put on by some punks who rented the hall for $40 and then all of the punk bands cancelled. So we filled in. Everybody played for free, and there was no admission. Nobody showed up till about 10pm, as the posters had the wrong address, but the party got underway, and it turned pretty Jamaican around there. Everybody BYOB'd and hotboxed the little storage room, and snowball fights were commonplace. Everybody was dancing and moshing hard by the end, and we all went home satisfied.

Gig 141: Saturday, April 12, 2008. Eddie Shorts Pub, Edmonton. With The Wild. We rocked the house to a free gig with a lot of fans there, had a good time, and the bands even got PAID.

Gig 140: Friday, December 14, 2007. Duster's Pub, Edmonton. With Un-Arm-Me. We get a huge set and rock the place down. Un-Arm-Me features Troy (ex-Ncision) and Worm. Shannon, Naylur-guy, and Jefftimus show up, and we have a good time. After Un-Arm-Me's set, they jam on some Skid Row and Journey. That's fun and terrible. Some skeezy chicks try to pick Chance and DeLion up, but luckily we are sober. We get to bust out some relatively new tunes, including Need To Sin, LA Woman, and Breakin' Down the Machine.

Gig 139: Saturday, November 17, 2007. Mead Hall, Edmonton. With King Ring Nancy and two other bands. This gig kind of was lame. Ten dollars door charge, 45-minute sets (after we bargained up from 25 minutes), we didn't get paid, and some dipshit dropped JG's guitar case. King Ring are now only made up of Kevin and Pete and three new guys, since Jurgen is not in the band as of recently.

Gig 138: Saturday, November 3, 2007. Hooliganz, Edmonton. With The Benders and Los Cremators. This is a metal / psychobilly gig and a great crowd turned out, including Leaf, Girl-Chris, Eric, Travis, Joe C and Nik, and a lot of regulars in the rockabilly scene. The Benders have Jefftimus on drums. This is a rockin' gig. And we get paid a decent wage. And there was no cover-charge. Looks like some bars are still honest.

Gig 137: Saturday, October 27, 2007. House Of Metal, Edmonton. With Perilous Seas, Evol/Etah, and several other bands. It is a wild kegger, and if you have been to the House of Metal, you know what I mean. CJ of Quietus and Evol/Etah lives there with several other hippies, and they had a huge bonfire in the yard, and set fire to couches, miscellaneous wood, and a tree. This party kept going well into the night. Present were: everybody who is anybody, such as Shannon, Randell, Courtney, Rod, and numerous others.

Gig 136: Saturday, Sept. 9, 2007. Mead Hall, Edmonton. With three bands I cant remember. Kind of an unremarkable gig, except Rod Ordell does the sound for us.

Gig 135: Saturday, August 26, 2007. Metal Dog Fest 2007, Gibbons, Alberta. With Quietus, Un-Arm-Me, Perilous Seas, and several other bands. It is a wild bush party at Crazy Carolyn's pad way out of town. There are lots of kegs, dogs, hippies, metalheads, and people camping, partying, etc. JG almost caused a bad scene. We left at 4am.

Gig 134: Friday, July 13, 2007. Rendezvous. Metal John's Charity gig for abused kids. Featuring Necronaut, us, and The Firebrands. The Firebrands are a deathabilly band with Travis Anderson (ex-Dead Jesus, Ncision, Bogue) on drums. Tons of people show up, the entire metal community, really. A great time was had by all. Keeping the scene alive!

Gig 133: 07-07-07: Rendezvous, Edmonton. With The Mange and Vox Humana. The Mange are good old punk, featuring Steve from the ManGoats! They played too long, though, and everyone was gone when we hit the stage. Except Leaf and her posse! Thanks eh! We still rocked it into the night, culminating in the first ever spaced out version of LA Woman.

Gig 132: June 18, 2007. Heart of the City festival, Giovanni Caboto Park, Edmonton. With several bands of all stripes. Really rockin, great to play outside for once. Lots of city rats and bikers show up.

Gig 131: March 24, 2007, Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Anavrin and Her Alibi. Her Alibi features Cindy from Divide By Zero, and Anavrin is a Nirvana tribute band. This was a rockin show. Leaf came down and threw her panties. Corb Lund's girlfriend Deb was there. Shouts to Paul, Iceman, and Scoots for showing up too. Anavrin were better sounding from outside.

GIG 130: St.Patrick's Day, March 17, 2007, The Studio, Edmonton. All ages gig with FTGU, Anavrin, Necronaut, and Order From Chaos. This was rockin. It was the last gig of the place known as the Studio, an all-ages venue that was getting too famous for its own good. CJ showed up, and several metalheads from the neighborhood (Str8 up downtown, yo).

Gig 129: December 9, 2006. Mead Hall, Edmonton. With Some Won Spit and Stolenova. This one was a DOOZY. Lots of cool dudes were there, just like old times. Stolenova features three ex-members of Lure, and Some Won Spit have metamorphosed into a whole new industrial goth punk thing with many instruments, and Marcy concentrating on singing. Alistair hooked us up with this one, and present were: The SWS posse, Andre, Scoots and Deron and chix, Jay (Joe Dick's Sask buddy), and numerous others, including a dude who saw us eight years ago and not since. The Mead Hall is cool. Cool tunes between sets and affordable locally-brewed beer.

Gig 128: October 28, 2006. Rendezvous, Edmonton. Another gig with people we cant remember any more. Seems like it was pretty rockin, and the hardcore hardcores were there, I remember that. Plus, someone was feeding booze to the performers. Deedee!

Gig 127: August 9, 2006. Shaw Conference Center, Edmonton! What an amazing dream come true! We played a gig at the venue which has held Motley Crue, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Rob Zombie, James Brown, and so many more! We played with Quietus and some rap band, and it was at an International Healing Our Spirit Conference which featured a keynote speech by Susan Aglukark. Props out to Lance Marty, my bro at Inner City for hooking us up with this one! We rocked out on a fifty foot wide stage, with huge tv screens on either side showing what the cameras were seeing. Two cameramen. We had a moshpit going and everything. We played: Bodies On Ice, Trucker of Doom, Combine, Kill Everybody I Know, Metal Massacre, Ace of Spades, and Paranoid for the encore. Mind expanding!

GIg 126: June 2006, at Avenue Skate Park, with Smulpragus and two other punk bands. What a cool venue! Cool vibes, pissing down rain during the Edmonton Oilers' near miss of the Stanley Cup.

Gig 125: Friday, May 19, 2006. Red's, WEM, Edmonton. With The Ghettoblasters, The Ways, and Cold Driven. This was more rockin' than the last Red's gig,and we sold some CDs and made some new fans, plus Tim the Ginseng Drummer (from Quietus) showed up to like our seventh show in a row. He's our new most rockin fan, I guess. Uncle Jimmy also rocked the house, and TiLo's drum solo was unreal. I thought Cold Driven were pretentious and typical-sounding, and I didn't like the hype surrounding them. The Ways were pretty rockin.

Gig 124: Saturday, May 13, 2006. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Quietus, Necronaut, and Spawned By Rot. This is Heavy Metal Brian's retirement party. After six years of promoting gigs and helping establish a firm underground metal scene, he is sick of the bullshit and politics and all that, so he's allegedly calling it quits. The set rocked. The whole heavy metal scene showed up, or at least a good representation of it: 150 paying customers. We sold some tapes.

GIG 123: Friday, March 31, 2006. Red's, West Edmonton Mall. With Necronaut and No One's Alone. This was a regular Red's type gig. It's such a huge room that unless you have six hundred people, it looks empty. There was less than six hundred people. But it was a solid gig! Oddly, it has been EXACTLY 5 years since the last time we played with Necronaut. Weird, eh? Songs played included: Drive, Can of Shit, Kill Everybody I Know, So Fine, TCB, ZZZ, and Ace of Spades. The only complaint was that each band was only allowed to play for like 35 minutes.

Gig 122: Saturday, January 13, 2006. Starlite Room, Edmonton. With Quietus and In Oath of Hera (formerly known as Boba). What an awesome gig! It is so cool to play at such a phat venue. Nirvana, Damageplan, Nashville Pussy, Fishbone, DOA, the smalls, Gwar, KMFDM, Zimmer's Hole, and everybody else cool has played here now. It is huge. We got about a hundred or so people to actually pay to get in which means we were the first band in a while to actually break even or better. Everyone was there: Jefftimus, Rahul (thanks for the intro), Blair Surfer, Carolyn our biggest fan, Ryan (Spawned By Rot/Necronaut), The Heavy Metal Mommas, Lance and Ajay, Shannon, Nate Dawg, JSin and Ztacy (No One's Alone), Shawna, Shawn, Rod the Roadie from Hell, and Security Andre. The place rocked solid till 2:30. Booze was chugged.

Gig 121: November 5, 2005. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Sliver and Public Address System. A really hard working, hard rocking gig. We blew everyone away that night. We were pissed off! Our van got a flat tire and had to be towed to the gig. The crowd consisted of 40 paying customers, and their tukes were blown sky-high. We did a ten-minute AC/DC ending at the end of the show, and jumped all over everything. Blair from Teenage Surf sang on our last song, Kill Everybody I Know. Calvin moshed up while on break from bartending, and Cory R. represented hard from behind the counter. Seriously, it was SHITKICKIN!

Gig 120: October 7, 2005. Rendezvous, Edmonton. Name change gig and album release of Crunchlifter: Indian Police. Also playing the gig were Slit Wrist Society and some young punks. Present were all the people who really cared, all the people who were truly righteous to us thru the years. We put up the new banner, and rock and roll ensued.

Gig 119: May 29, 2005. Fox, Edmonton. Pretty relaxed gig. Some homies show up but its pretty quiet. Sunday night. Some parents dug our sound.

Gig 118: May 7, 2005. Octopus Ink, Edmonton. All- ages gig with London Disturbance Force, Deathhammer, Necrobiosis, and Helden. Really fun show at really fun venue. Cops show up right when we are rockin out Skeletons of Society. Apparently they gave out a shitload of fines, though. Bastards. Present were many from the punk and grind scenes, plus Joe Dick and Jay and McNasty, and Heath. Guests on Who the Hell, and Up in Smoke. Crazy moshes.

Gig 117: April 17, 2005. The Fox, Edmonton. With Mongoose and Train Wreck Diaries. It was a really rockin gig that we had a blast playing. There were several people there. Notables included Manda, Joe Dick and Buddy from SK, plus Jon (Mervyn Albin), Shannon, and others. Beers were chugged.

Gig 116: April 16, 2005: Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Snapt and Deadwing. Sound was a little rough, but we kept on truckin.

GiG 115: February 19, 2005. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Blasphemus (Edson), and Butane. Celebrating TEN YEARS OF ROCKIN!!!! What a heavy rollin show! Chicks were partying, bands were thrashing, the Tyrant posse was powerdrinking, Leaf and Kory were snapping photos, Joe Dick (Chris) was filming, Curtis from Butane was recording, members of War March, Rites of Degringolade, Necronaut, Heavy Metal Bryan, Spawned By Rot, Dead Jesus, Mervyn Albin, Septimus, Boba, DJ Mobile (Philchin), etc etc etc showed up. It was wild. Mickeys were chugged, dances of doom were enacted. An unforgettable gig.

Gig 114: February 5, 2005. Eastwood hall. Soul Shakedown Party, featuring The Pompadours, Souljah Fyah, Smulpragus, Darksand, Omega Theory, and Eshoodabin Wisa. What a great party! There were dogs everywhere (like 15 huskies!) and kegs in the basement, and punk and hippie kids all over. Reggae, surf, hiphop, prog-doom, and metal music reverberated in the spirit of Bob Marley's 60th birthday. Good times. We sang from behind a pulpit, and played Dirty Deeds for our opening song.

Gig 113: December 19, 2004. The Fox, Edmonton. Sunday night. With Shattered Core and No Such Luck.Sound was much better this time, everyone was more sober (except the fans), there were no fights, and the cops did not manage to catch us. Props to Leaf, Kory, and Mike; Zach and Deserae; Calvin; and Tara for showing up. Gig 112: October 24, 2004. The Fox, Edmonton. Sunday night Rock Show. With Dudley Dawson and Left Nutt. Sound was terrible, lighting was awesome, and a wild time was had by all who showed up. Present were: Leaf; Kate + Leya from KBG; Blair (Teenage Surf Invasion); Zach, Deserae and Jesse; Calvin from Dead Jesus; Uncle Jimmy from the Ghettoblasters was working the lights, and everybody was rockin hard till the cows came home.

Gig 111: October 16, 2004. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Son of a Gun. Good times. All of the old school Fox and Hounds Posse was there, including Cory and Michelle of Some Won Spit; Calvin and Glen from Dead Jesus; Heavy Metal Brian, Paul and Shane of Necronaut; Jay from Spawned By Rot; Andre; Jon from Mervyn Albin was working the sound; Aileen and Worm; Miranda and friends, etc etc etc. Fun times. Chance wore a crazy grim reaper mask on stage for this one.

Gig 110: July 17, 2004. North Glenora Community Hall, Edmonton. Jefftimus and Pamelita's Wedding. With Septimus, Tyrant, and several other bands and jam sessions. Great time sending off our homiez Jeff and Pam (drummer and guitar-player for both Septimus and Tyrant). We played Ace of Spades, Kill Everybody i Know, Paranoid, and ZZZ. Present were; all of Tyrant, Grant and Raelene, Marcus and date, Eric and date, Eric's bros Chris and Del, Diamond Dave and Stan from Snapt, Bob (from Adding Reign: see Gig #23), plus the whole Septiposse. We close it down and then wait thru an hour for the cabs at the end of the nite.

Gig 109: June 26, 2004. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Left Nutt and Common Ground. Left Nutt are really weird, singing about homo shit and incest and then they take off their clothes on stage. Sort of punk music. Common Ground were way better. Anyways, the I.P. rocked it out like usual and played all of the hits that time allowed. Present at the show were: Aileen, Worm, and Bobbi; Andre and posse; Shannon; The KBG crew: Kate, Debb, Shanda, and Paul; Blair form Teenage Surf Invasion; Cory and Michelle from Some Won Spit, and probably a dozen other harcores that I cant remember.

Gig 108: April 9, 2004. Stars, Edmonton. With The Joint Chiefs (from Vancouver). This was a really rockin gig, and the Joint Chiefs really know how to kick ass! Props out to all who showed up for this bluntfest.

Gig 107: April 3, 2004. Stars, Edmonton. With The Mad Banger Society and the Blame-Its(from Hinton). This is a weird gig. The Mad Bangers are like a dress-up glam tribute band featuring members of the Mad Bomber Society, and they play all the 80s hits. We get paid in beers, and luckily there are more than even we can drink. 2 Flats, but DeLion could only have two because he had to drive that night. We kick out the jams hardcore, and leave everybody slain. Props out to the kid who had seen our posters for five years and was now finally old enough to come to his first I.P. gig!

Gig 106: February 21, 2004. JJ's Pub, Edmonton. It's the second nite of the Doubletripleheader. The first set is totally dead. Everybody was watching the hockey game. However, things picked up for the second and third sets when McNasty, Hayley, Limey, Lee, and members of Wicked World showed up. The highlights of the whole gig had to be when Hart Of D.O.P. and Wicked World came up and sang N.I.B. and Sin City with us. We played 34 songs, making it 71 songs performed live in o0ne weekend, a new fuckin record for us. Good Times!

Gig 105: February 20, 2004. JJ's Pub, Edmonton. It's the first night of the Doubletripleheader: Two nites, three sets nightly. We play 37 songs to an audience including Mandy-Marie and the VirginSlayers, Hannaford, Andre, The Septiposse, Serge and the Lesbian Crew, Aileen and Worm. Good times!

Gig 104: February 14, 2004. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Idol and Cloned. Pretty rocking gig, done on the emergency spur of the moment (two days notice). The crazy treeplanters and lesbos are there, moshing it up.

Gig 103: January 24, 2004. Seedy's, Edmonton. With Teenage Surf Invasion and Mr. Relaxer. We played first and loudest and rockinest. McNasty was there and he says Teenage Surf Invasion was pretty rockin too. But of course the I.P. owned the stage. The Crawford Posse showed up too, as did Hannaford, Screamin Kirk, and Buffy the Yuppie Slayer.

Gig 102: January 9, 2004. Stars, Edmonton. With Boba and Septimus. A real groovy gig. Everyone got paid. Solid turnout. Septimus rocked. Boba rocked. The Indian Police rocked.

Gig 101: December 13, 2003. Stars, Edmonton. With B&E, Anyone/Everyone, Inverness, and Black Water Transit. We go on last, at about 1:15am, and we rock our hearts out to a crowd of exactly 2 people. Thank you, thank you, and fuck you.

Gig 100: November 29, 2003. Rendezvous, Edmonton. With Idol. This was a rocking gig. While we were playing, this guy threatened the waitress with a knife, and the Edmonton City Police showed up, and we had to shut it down for a twenty minute intermission while things got straightened out. Then we went back up and played the rest of our twenty song set. Lots of dancers, and we gave away two D.A.R.E. shirts with the Indian Police logo on the backs to some fans. Plus we sold a whack of shirts and CDs.

Gig 99: September 26, 2003. Stars, Edmonton. With Some won Spit and path.of.alogical.liar (featuring former members of Defeat, Phork, and Truth). Really Rockin. Eddie's going-away party. One highlight of the night is the wrestling match between Calvin and Eddie. Present are members of Dead Jesus, Bludgeon, Antidisism, Spawned By Rot, plus Mandy-Marie, Dave Hannaford, Maria, and many more.

Gig 98: September 5, 2003. Reds, WEM. CD release for "Layin' Down The Law." With Texas Blood Money and The Ghettoblasters.

Gig 97: August 22, 2003. The Cobalt, Vancouver BC. With The Brewkowskis, Autonomadic, and Motorama. Really ripped it up. Surprise guest appearance live jam with J-Frost of Vancouver's live hiphop pioneers Big Bottom.

Gig 96: July 31, 2003. Duster's Pub, Edmonton. Open jam with Juke Joint. We played Rocky Mountain Way, Hey Joe, and our original, So Fine, before getting thrown off the stage.

Gig 95: July 12, 2003. Rendezvous Pub, Edmonton. With Boba and Bushleague. Skanky Bitches were throwing their panties up on stage. No shit. Plus Madd Child of the Swollen Fags... ARRRR Members was there to see his homiez from Bushleague, but he never paid to get in and missed the I.P. section of the show. This was filmed by Mandy Mareeples. Sweet Leaf was at this gig.

Gig 94: June 14, 2003. JJ's Pub, Edmonton. Two long grueling sets. In the crowd are: Limey, Mcnasty, hannaford, Aileen, Maria, and the Slit Wrist Society.

Gig 93: Friday June 13, 2003. JJ's Pub. With Snapt. Present are the Septiposse, Hart from D.O.P., Eddie, Aileen, Mcnasty, KBG crew, Eric and homiez. A real ripper of a gig. Diamond Dave of Snapt goes crazy from the sound and beats down the sound-guy-idiot.

Gig 92: May 31, 2003. Power Rock Lounge, Edmonton. With Hemi. DIY sound and it was great. Crazy punker chix were moshing hard.

Gig 91: April 29, 2003. Fox & Hound's Closing Down Gig, Edmonton. With Some Won Spit and Blacken. AMAZING gig. A real smokeathon. Present were: Hemi, Amoeba, Septiposse, Snapt, the Heavy Metal Mommas, Dimebag Aaron and crew. Heavy Metal Brian does a huge speech and guest appearance on our Slayer covers. Our final song here is Jailbreak, which was the final song on the night that we opened up the Fox back in 1998. The end of an era.

Gig 90: April 12, 2003. Seedy's Pub, Edmonton. With Skully and the Hypocrites. Heavy Show.

Gig 89: March 21, 2003. Fox & Hound's. With Marble Engine and 2T2P. Really Riveting.

Gig 88: March 1, 2003. Studio E, Edmonton. Live broadcast on CJSR FM 88.5, for the program Smilin' Jay's Happy Hour. This gig was also recorded and we later used it for our album "Layin' Down The Law...Live!". Also playing after the broadcast were The Elevators and the Artists Formerly Known As Metallica. Crazy Show. Just listen to the album.

Gig 87: January 24, 2003. Fox & Hound's. With Metallica and the Cursed. Fun gig. Filmed on home vid by Marcus. Metallica has been getting in lots of press over the fact that they used that name and the real Metallica threatened legal action. What a riot. Those guys are one crazy band.

Gig 86: New Year's Eve, 2002-2003. Fox & Hound's. With Hemi, Half Cut, Dewey, Deathgrip, and The Farkus Affair. This one was sponsored by Metal John's Mind Compression on CJSR. Members of Hemi mooned the stage and caused a big scene.

Gig 85: December 19, 2002. Fox & Hound's. Battle of the bands vs. Change Methodical, Nothing At All, and 2 other punk bands. We win, and get to play New Year's Eve. This was our 40th gig at the Fox ever, in exactly 4 years of playing there. There was also a poster scandal tied to this gig too, vs. Nothing At All, but the issue has since been resolved.

Gig 84: December5, 2002. Ottewell Pub, Edmonton. Battle of the Bands vs. Los Nacos. Lost again, but sold some CDs and gained some new fans.

Gig 83: November 30, 2002. Fox & Hound's. CD Release for "World War 4." With Ozone Baby and Lixx. All the hardcore bros were here for this one. We went on last and Ozone Baby was in the middle and wouldnt get off the damn stage, forcing us to hit the stage at 1:30am. Whose gig is this anyways?

Gig 82: November 16, 2002. Stars, 82Ave, Edmonton. With Drop Pipe. Both bands got shafted due to a ripoff policy of paying the soundguy and the doorguy and the bartender out of the door money, and Drop Pipe came all the way from Calgary, but at least we made sure that they picked up some chicks.

Gig 81: November 7, 2002. Ottewell Pub, Edmonton. Battle of the Bands with Esoteric Mind. We win! Aileen and posse, and the guys from F'N'It show up.

Gig 80: October 24, 2002. Dusters Pub, Edmonton. Open stage with Juke Joint. Loud, Rockin, Kickass.

Gig 79: September 1, 2002. Fox and Hound's. With Defeat, The Heartbroken, and Greyhound Tragedy. Retirement gig for the Amazing Punk Goddess Cory Richard, drummer of Some Won Spit and bookings agent for the Fox and Hound's for the last 4 years. The end of an era in independent rock in Edmonton.

Gig 78: August 10, 2002. Fox & Hound's. With Throwdown and SMS. Kickass. 160 people crammed in there, including Natty Ramone and The Wolf.

Gig 77: July 27, 2002. Power Rock Lounge, Edmonton. Three hours, Three sets, Three bucks. Chance chugs a beer on stage and then chugs a mickey of JD in the following set. The unveiling of the new 20-foot IP banner is at this one. Present company included Heavy Metal Brian, the Heavy Metal Mommas, McNasty, and the Septiposse.

Gig 76: June 1, 2002. The Brickyard, Vancouver BC. With Naked For Jesus (Vancouver) and Wishing Well (Calgary). We blew the other bands right off the stage, and caused the guitarist from Wishing Well to smash his Marshall Amp. We saved the Marshall sticker off the front of it. Members of the audience included all of Big Bottom, Jason of Kaos Kult, Evil Shayd, and Trevor from Abuse. Nobody can believe the amount of doobage there is in Vancouver.

Gig 75: April 6, 2002. The King Edward, Calgary AB. Blues jam with Nigel Mack of the Blues Attack. After this gig we head home, and it turns into a blizzard. It takes us 6 hours to drive up Highway 2, normally a 3.5 hour drive.

Gig 74: April 5, 2002. The Underground, Calgary AB. With Drop Pipe and Sittin' Idol. Kickass. All of the relatives and buddies show up. The big surprise is the appearance of Doc Tommy Rock, the original IP singer who guest appears on a couple of tunes. This is the first we have seen him in three-an-a-half years, and one of the last times to date.

Gig 73: March 30, 2002. The Arts Barns, Edmonton. Spring Metal Meltdown IV with Tyrant. The crowd drinks to our tunes. Tyrant really kicks ass. Gig 72: March 23, 2002. Blues On Whyte, Edmonton. Open jam. we play Tush/I Really Like Girls, Voodoo Child, and Snortin" Whiskey. We bring down the house. All the cougars get up and dance.

Gig 71: March 9, 2002. Fox & Hound's. With Judgemental and Esoteric Mind. Crazy Violent Mosh. Crowd in rapture. Sold 12 T-shirts. After the gig we are sitting at a table at the front of the Fox and DeLion's girlfriend starts beating him up in front of everyone, hitting him with her shoe, scratching, and choking him. Chance and JG along with Calvin from Dead Jesus all take turns throwing her out.

Gig 70: January 26, 2002. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. Open stage. We play Smoke On the Bayou and Cold Shot. It's fun. Marshall Lawrence (blues dude) is in the audience.

Gig 68: December 14, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Skin Machine. Skin Machine's final gig. It's our 68th gig and our 34th gig at the Fox. It's also the third anniversary of our playing the Fox for the first time.

Gig 67: December 666, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Dead Jesus, Buthcher'd, and Bludgeon. Wow what a party. Working the back entrace is Laurie Bell, who would go on a Bonnie-and-Clyde bender of car thefts, bank robberies, and shootouts a week later with her boyfriend. They are both in jail now. This gig was filmed as well.

Gig 65: October 19, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Deep Fine Grind and Blind Army. This is a secret fill-in gig.

Gig 64: September 22, 2001. Wash 'n' Slosh Laundra-bar, Saskatoon SK. With Skank. When we got to the bar, we found out that the guy who booked us had been fired a few days previously, and we were no longer on the bill. We muscle our way back onto the bill only to be booted off the stage after only 7 songs to make way for this crappy band called Skank who played three sets of 80s-Rock covers, with one original thrown into each set for flavour. The crowd loves these hosers though. However, this girl who knows Disciples Of Power heard that we were playing and came out to cheer us on. Also props to Tree and the other tattoo guys from Inkognito who came out and represented. Then, we have to threaten the manager into paying us $100 and a hotel room (which had been agreed upon with the previous bookings manager), and when we get to the hotel room, it turns out that we have to spend $42 of our gig money to stay there. Ahhh, Road Life!

Gig 63: September 13, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Blacken, Antidisism, and Borx. Metal Thurzdayz Gig. Antidisism are great. What an awesome punk-grind ensemble, plus they take a side-grinder to a keg and play it like an instrument for one of their songs.

Gig 62: September 8, 2001. The Royal Albert Arms, Winnipeg MB. With Lowball and The Whiskeydogs. We meet some cool people, and play at the bar that introduced Ruyter Suys to Blaine Cartwright (so they could form Nashville Pussy). Lowball are allright, but the Whiskeydogs go in the middle, and they are probably the WORST band we have ever played with, and they chase 60 of the 80 people out of the bar.

Gig 61: September 7, 2001. Sassy's, Brandon MB. With Liqurd. This was a wild party. We sped all the way there, a 14-hour drive in 12 hrs, and arrived at midnight to see Liqurd for a few songs and then we rock the stage hard. Liqurd are one of the best band we have ever played with, and their high-speed growling booze-fuelled thrash kick ass. Then We all go up to our free hotel rooms with our free beer and party down hard until the booze is gone and its 5:00 in the morning. Ahhhh, Road Life!

Gig 60: August 25, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Caveman and Vertical Smile. This is our secret CD release party for Three Ring Circus. Lots of buddies show up for this one.

Gig 59: August 11, 2001. JJ's Pub, Edmonton. This is an emergency fill-in gig. We kicked some major shit.

Gig 58: July 21, 2001. Rock Central Station, Edmonton. With Lure and Texas Blood Money. This gig was a CJSR benefit concert for Metal John's show Mind Compression, and we were paid with beer.

Gig 57: July 14, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Esoteric Mind. Mike from the band Don't Ask gives me a bass guitar almost identical to my main bass, The Sorceress. I name it The Temptress. It has subsequently been donated to Cheyene Bruneau, up-and-coming bass chick.

Gig 56: June 30, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Anchored Soul and Ncision. A really groovy metal gig with a wicked light show courtesy of Anchored Soul's Dad...ARRRRR...crew!

Gig 54: May 11, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Esoteric Mind. We play 19 songs.

Gig 53: May 5, 2001. Power Rock Lounge, Edmonton. With Disciples Of Power and Ouroboros. The gig was supposed to be at Reola's but Reola's closed down the day before the gig. We rock hard anyways, and it was our highest profile gig up until that time. Highlight song of the night is Combine. Gig is PACKED.

Gig 52: April 12, 2001. R&B Club, Edmonton. Surprise battle of the bands vs. Face First. They win, but Gord Steinke of Hidden Agenda (and Global News) shows up and says that we rocked hardest. we deicat our song No Sleep Till Motorhead to him. Johnny Winter takes this stage three nights later.

Gig 51: March 31, 2001. Reola's Pub, Edmonton. With Necronaut and Esoteric Mind. We really closed the place down this night, boozin it up and rockin it down until our posse and Necronaut's posse were the only ones left in the bar.

Gig 50: March 16, 2001. Rainbow Lounge, Redwater, AB. We play our hearts out on our first ever road gig, and there's only 13 people in the bar, including 6 hardcore VLT addicts, 4 truckers, 2 punk kids with green and pink hair, and their Mom.

Gig 48: February 23, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Judgemental and The Rods. Hell of a big crowd tonight! Over 100 fans!

Gig 47: January 26, 2001. Fox & Hound's. With Teri's Parasite and The Man-Goats. Jonny Destructo arrives and helps us rock out. The Man-Goats are cool. Half their set is original and half is Misfits covers. Cool!

Gig 46: January 25, 2001. Longriders. With Deep Fine Grind. This bar was kind of cool; they had a big projection screen behind us and were showing a stream of videos of monster trucks and dirtbike stunts and crazy extreme sports the whole time we were playing. We played the first set, then Deep Fine Grind played a long set, then we set up again and played some more. Johnny Destructo helps us sing Danzig's Mother and Combine and Trucker of Doom.

Gig 45: December 29, 2000. Fox & Hound's. With Bogue. This is surprise free concert in the holiday season. It rocked. Dan Jak from Impared gets up and helps us sing Trucker Of Doom.

Gig 44: December 15, 2000. Reola's Pub, Edmonton. Metalfest 2000, with Septimus, King Ring Nancy, Chunk, and Sun Of Man. We kicked ass.

Gig 43: November 15, 2000. JJ's Pub, Edmonton. With Year Of the Panda and Septimus, and a band which included Eric (Septimus) on bass, Stan and Diamond Dave (both of Offence Taken and later Snapt)on drums and guitar, respectively, and Delion (of the Indian Police) on vocals.

Gig 32: August 5, 2000. Fox & Hound's. With Don't Ask. This was a hardrockin', hardworkin' gig. The Wolf jumps up on stage during our Hawkwind cover and I throw him across the dance floor while only losing one note on my bass.

Gig 31: July 28, 2000. Fox & Hound's. With Liqurd and Loco. We played a tight set and partied hard with Liqurd as usual. Johnny Destructo and Little Ozzy are present at this gig.

Gig 30: July 21, 2000. Fox & Hound's. With None Of Us Are Sane. Debut of our hit song Get Out at this gig.

Gig 29: July 8, 2000. Bonnie Doon Hall, Edmonton. With Darksand and Bogue. We get paid with 3 sixpacks and have to go on super late, pretty much after the all-ages crowd goes home for curfew. The Wolf jumps up on stage with us and sings in a terrible voice, and steps on all of our guitar pedals. At the end of the set, J.G. smashes an acoustic guitar, but there is hardly anyone there to see it. Present are the guys from Lure and D.O.P.

Gig 28: Canada Day, July 1, 2000. Hosedown at the Fox & Hound's. With Drive By Punch, Quarter Life Crisis, and two other punk bands. Punkfest gigs are a blast.

Gig 27: May 5, 2000. Fox & Hound's. With Indifferent and Mithril. This is our CD release gig for Never Mind The Bullshit. The house is packed, and we close it down.

Gig 26: January 1, 2000. Fox & Hound's. With Some Won Spit. Post New Year's Bash. Totally dead. In fact, the only people in the crowd are us, Some Won Spit, and Calvin from Dead Jesus.

Gig 25: December 18, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Dissidence. Don Joyce is no longer here; the kybosh is lifted.

Gig 24: December 9, 1999. Ottewell Pub, Edmonton. Battle of the Bands. The other guys don't show up, and we win. We meet a young fan here who goes on to form his own band, and years later, plays gigs with us as bass player/vocalist for Edmonton's Metallica.

Gig 23: October 30, 1999. A warehouse in Edmonton. Halloween Jam with Adding Reign and Smack Dabbath. We play first, then last as well. All kinds of members of the local metal scene are here, including Septimus and D.O.P., and it is a really wild party. We get home at 4am, and it is snowing.

Gig 22: September 3, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Half-Hanged Mary and Stash. We are in trouble with the promoter and the provincial government over some posters we put up for a gig that got cancelled down at the Legislature Grounds, and the promoter, Don Joyce, kicks us out of the Fox & Hound's. Luckily this kybosh only lasts 3 months, until Don is fired. We never made much money playing for him anyways, but we've been kicked out of too many places already. Even the Police show up to make sure we don't play that cancelled gig.

Gig 21: August 21, 1999. Pig & Wistle Pub, Edmonton. We play to bunch of bikers, but they want to hear that classic rock sound. We try our best, but the only way we know how to play is hard, fast, and loud. We get kicked out after 7 songs, but they pay us and we drink up every last dime of our profits.

Gig 20: July 24, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Indifferent and Phork. The place is packed, and we only make 11 bucks?!?

Gig 19: July 17, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Dive. I have the letters I.P. painted on my chest.

Gig 18: June 26, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With The Heartbroken. We play 17 songs, and the cops give the bar a noise ticket.

Gig 17: June 19, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Truth and Los Gringos Muertes. Rockin' really hard.

Gig 16: June 5, 1999. Blues On Whyte. Open Stage. We only get to play one song, TCB. The crowd likes it, but not the management, and we get the boot.

Gig 15: May 28, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Porn Czar. The impact is being felt.

Gig 14: April 23, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Defeat and Big Ed. We had lots of juice, but only made 8 bucks.

Gig 13: March 20, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Phoenix and Red Myst Club. we almost get into a rumble because of a girlfriend of a member of another band doesn't like our sound, but we dont have to kick ass this time (except on stage).

Gig 12: March 13, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Smokin' Aliens, Typhoid Mary, Septimus, The Smelters, and A15. We represent hard and play last. The Smokin' Aliens are really good, and are interesting because of their shemale drummer. This is our first gig with Septimus as well.

Gig 11: March 12, 1999. Fox & Hound's. With Endorphan. We do sets and then a Sabbath Jam.

Gig 10: December 20, 1998. Pins & Cues, Edmonton. Band Expo with 57 bands. This is a huge gig for us in that we get a lot of exposure. We ripped it up hard.

Gig 9: December 12, 1998. Fox & Hound's. With Lungbuttur. This is our first gig at the landmark location, and as far as we know, we were the first gig that the Fox & Hound's ever had. Don Joyce is the promoter, and Cory Richard is running the door. All of our buddies from Grande Prairie and Fort St. John show up. We play 2 sets. This was also the first gig for which we put up posters. Also, showing up for the first time in Edmonton, is our original singer, Doc Tommy Rock. He does the last set with us, and disappears right after the show. We never saw him again for several years.

Gig 8: October 1998. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. We bring down our whole setup and are made to play very last, when there are not that many people left. It is a Monday night.

Gig 7: September 1998. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. With Mike McDonald (ex-Jr. Gone Wild). We play 7 songs and get a huge crowd response.

Gig 6: September 1998. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. A very rockin' open stage performance, this is our first gig with DeLion on the drums. Songs played include: Combine, .454, Nice Day In Hell, Bodies On Ice, Self Made Religion, Join the I.P., and the Finale. DeLion joined the I.P. himself, based on an ad in the SEE magazine that read, "Indian Police are looking for a drummer. Infl: AC/DC, Black Sabbath, C.O.C." He hasn't missed a gig, and was the final piece we needed.

Gig 5: August 1998. Urban Lounge, Edmonton. Open mic Wednesday during the Fringe Festival. The guy on drums sucks, and we play without him. J.G. almost didn't make this gig, but gets his ass enough in gear to scare the shit out of the goof running the open jam. Also playing at this gig were Fifth Season. They didn't impress me, but they're signed to Interscope Records now.

Gig 4: August 1998. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. Our drummer, The Kount, does not show up, so we kick him out of the band and play anyways. It sounds kind of like the Jon Spencer Blues explosion.

Gig 3: June 1998. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. This is our only gig with The Kount on drums. It is pretty rockin'. Also playing that night were Bubba, Hyperdrive Motivator, and this space-rock band with two girls on guitars.

Gig 2: May 1998. Sidetrack Cafe, Edmonton. This is an open jam and we get Noel, the roadie/soundguy from Centrafuge, to play drums for us. We play 4 songs, including a Porch Jam.

The First I.P. Gig Ever (since we moved to Edmonton): February 14, 1998. The Blues On Whyte. We get some guy named Rico to drum for us, and play a medley of these songs: Checkin' The Mail/Sweetleaf/Purple Haze/BK. The crowd has mixed reactions, but someone yells out for some Pantera. as we are getting off the stage, Chance pretends to start playing "Walk", and the guy running the open jam unplugs the patchcord.
