"Wado, Yeha Tatanka Noha" (Thankyou, Sacred Buffalo Spirits)! After many years, the buffalo have been brought to this land in summer of 2002. I give many thanks to the prayers of my apache brothers. Since then, the buffalo have brought much peace to this land.

The photo above has spiritual significance to me, because of the circle of light leading the buffalo. It had snowed that day and my Apache brother, "Benny Broken Eagle", jokingly said, "Lets go find the White Buffalo". We went out and saw the buffalo excited and moving as if following something. We happened to take this photo during that moment. To our surprise, after the photos where developed, we saw this circle of light (Orb) in front of the buffalo. Could it be a spirit or possibly even the spirit of the white buffalo? This was photographed on Nov. 28, 2001.

In the summer of 99, I held a 3 month camp for the MHMR children. Featured events where horseback riding, indian arts & crafts, hiking, traditional dancing & drumming (at the "Medicine Wheel Campground" shown right). Also, lessons in Native American history and beliefs where taught, with an emphasis on the importance of nature safety and conservation.
"THE FREEDOM SCHOOL PROJECT" (An important educational program such as this to help less fortunate children have the opportunity to experience the joys of Nature and participate in Native American activities).
