  1. Announcement of a Slate of IBLN Executive Board Officer Candidates for election. The IBLN Election follows the ALA-Black Caucus election timeline. Valentine, I believe according to our bylaws that the Vice Pres./Pres. Elect serves as chair of the nominating committee for officers. In any case, could you please contact one or two persons to help you, and come up with the names of two persons for each office who agree to run in the election? I believe Dorothy asked each person who agreed to write a short statement of their intent also to be used in the election.
  2. Greater exposure at future ILF events.
  3. Outstanding items from the Fall meeting.
  4. Activity from ALA midwinter regarding ALA Black Caucus affiliates.
  5. IBLN collaboration with Indiana State Library and SLIS to write an IMLS Grant.
  6. Valentine and DeLoice to update the membership about the Deceased Librarians Project for ALA-BC.
  7. We need volunteers to work on the following committees. Each committee is tasked with creating brie mission and goal of said committee.
    1. Elections
    2. Marketing and Publicity
    3. Recruitment
    4. Scholarship: Jos Holman
    5. Web and Listserv: Michelle Fenton, DeLoice Holliday
    6. Other?
