IBLN Spring membership meeting. In brief, the Board decided to have the spring meeting in April due to scheduling conflicts with ILF this year. Grace noted in her e-mail that for the past two years, ILF had been scheduled in April, but this year it has been scheduled for March. Grace will contact Dorothy Washington at Purdue Black Culture Center to request a meeting there for either Saturday, April 2nd or Saturday, April 23rd, 2005, 10:00am-noon. We agreed that it's important to have the Gary Public Library people present at our next meeting, and that Lafayette is a central location. West Lafayette Public Library was also suggested as a meeting spot.

Spring membership agenda. Grace will put together an agenda and send it to the Board through e-mail. She encourages everyone to add to the agenda list. Some of the topics for discussion will include:

• Greater exposure at future ILF events.
• Outstanding items from the Fall meeting.
• Activity from ALA midwinter regarding ALA Black Caucus affiliates.
• IBLN collaboration with Indiana State Library and SLIS to write an IMLS Grant.
• Valentine and DeLoice to update the membership about the Deceased Librarians Project for ALA-BC.

Indiana Library Federation. Valentine reiterated that IBLN needs greater exposure or programming at future ILF conferences. Jos will create an IBLN flyer for distribution at ILF that will include IBLN mission and announcement of the next IBLN meeting in April. Valentine will check to make sure that Jos will be allowed to provide the newly created flyers and membership forms at the "Programming for Diversity in Indiana Libraries: Recruiting for the Future" ILF program on March 23rd, 2:00p.m.-3:20p.m. Other commitments at ILF scheduled for Wednesday, March 23rd include: Valentine will volunteer at the registration desk from 8:00-11:00am, and preside over "Women in History." Jos will present "Oh Say Can You See." Monique will preside over "Integrating and Delivering Media Technology in the Classroom"
