| About Charles Glaser Charles began his career in Ballroom Dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studios, excelling as an instructor and competitor. He went on to spend two years teaching and training at the nationally acclaimed American Ballroom Center in Nashville, Tennessee. His coaches, and the owners of the studio, Ben & Shalene Ermis, are US Smooth Champions. While at ABC Charles received exceptional advanced training, taking advantage of the outstanding coaching provided by many of today�s top professional competitive dancers. Among them are Victor Veryasset & Heather Smith, and three time Smooth Champion David Hamilton. With over ten years experience in ballroom dance instruction and competition, Charles now teaches competitive & social dancing as an independent instructor. Whether the focus is competitive or social dancing, Charles is meticulous & thorough, attentive to technique and style. His students have successfully competed at pro-am events throughout the country. IndepenDance of Boston won the award for Top Small Studio at Boston�s 2002 Yankee Classic DanceSport Championships. And they recently received Top Studio & Top Teacher awards at the 2004 Constitution State Challenge in Stamford Ct. Charles is available for private instruction, coaching, and adjudicating throughout the New England area. He is conveniently located in Newton, Ma. |
