| Well, the band started back at the first school coffee house. I(drake) basically came to play with a boy named Kasey (our old drummer, if you didnt know). But probably a hour before we were suppose to play, we got Mike Dwyer (the bassist) to play bass (duh) for us. So we played My Life Sux (this was a long time ago and that song really does suck). Then we called Rick Badger up and played a couple more songs. I talked to Rick after the show and we decided to have Brandon sing for us (at that time we were called Absolute Zero). Basically we played a couple more shows with Kasey and before the school year ended, we decided to kick him out, not only because he sucked but for many reasons. We actually played a show with Moe even before we kicked out Kasey that he doesnt even know about. A friend of Ricks told us about him and we played a show with him to make sure he was good (that sealed the deal with the kicking of Kasey out of the band). Moe was so much better than Kasey. So we kept him. So the school year ended. We recorded a very sucky cd over the summer and were trying to get those out of rotation there so bad. We played couple more shows after the school started again.Then Southern High Schools battle of the bands came and we won first place. We also won a spot at Maryland Halls battle of the bands (Anne Arundel countys battle of the bands) and got 4th place (that was a great night, to much Red Bull though............ yes cause it was free). Well anyway, about this point, Brandon has left the band because of several different reasons. And he kinda screwed us over right before Thunderdome but what ever. So here we are just over a year old, been through a drummer and a singer. But still moving on. And we are recording our second cd. Which I must say is going to be really good. So make sure you get one, you wont regret it. |
