I'm really into music. I love that stuff! It's such a great feeling to just be able to
February 13th note:
sit around and listen to music. I favor rock and techno, but as of late, I've been learning to appreciate all kinds of music.
Wow, long time no do website (as if this was something new for me). Valentine's Day = tomorrow. Girlfriend = not here. I'll have to wait until Friday to see her, which'll be fun because we'll be going to see Fiddler on the Roof at the college I go to. It'll be fun because we met through playing in the pit orchestra for the same musical in high school.
especially action and ones that mess with your mind.
I also really dig movies,
The most important things I feel God has provided me with are my friends and family.
Last but not least, a new addition to my page is my Christianity page. I love God, and
even through the struggles, I will always fight for him.

I recently just got back from a family visit in Kentucky for Christmas. As usual, I had a great time seeing my cousins. My brother and I stayed the night at Bradley's house and played Halo 2 all night. Another day, I got to go out and eat with my "city" cousins from my dad's side of the family; those people crack me up. Next year we talked about how it'll be the first time our cousin group will get to go to the bars together (everyone is of age except Liz and I; I'll be 21 next September and she'll be 21 in November, right before the Thanksgiving family gathering). It should be a lot of fun. I'm not one for drinking (I've never had a drop so far), and I never plan on being drunk, but I think I can manage a social drink here and there. Well, I'm on break until January 13th or 14th, so I'm gonna go and enjoy it some more right now.

Finally! I got my keyboard! Took long enough, but I finally just got it from Best Buy. They
practically saved my life, haha. But finally, Court and I are now heavily underway in creating our rock opera (and it will be so incredibly awesome when we get it finished). Thank goodness for Thanksgiving break...

I realize it's been a long time since I've written here. Lately, I feel so insanely bogged down. I study hard, but don't get the grades I've been wanting. I have project after paper after paper after project after tests and quizzes. It's non-stop, and it's just so overwhelming that I can't handle it. It's hard to give my feelings to God about this. I know He will take care of me, but this is just so much more work than I've ever had to do. I have TWO debate essays to be writing: one for my writing class and the other for my criminal justice system class. I have a resume to make (from scratch) for my application to the College of Journalism. I have a huge test coming up not to mention an all-essay mid-term for history in about a month (I only got an 80% on the mid-quiz). All of this hard work is just overlapping and is insanely hard to handle.

College started... and my classes are book crazy. I have a lot of reading I'll be doing this semester, and a few of those classes are incredibly demanding in terms of the amount of work and research that needs to be done for them. In fact, I don't know how much I'll be able to go home over the weekends to see my girlfriend, and that really makes me sad. She still has a year left in high school before she goes to college; that's a year too long. Oh well.

I got to see Emily yesterday for the first and only time this summer. We hung out at the mall and we ate dinner at Applebee's. It was great seeing her; I feel blessed God gave me such a great Christian friend.
It's August, and that means school starts soon. I move back on the 15th and begin classes on the 18th. Robyn has been gone in Texas for a week now and still won't be back until the 8th... which means I only get a week with her before we have to go back to seeing each other every-other weekend. I miss you, Robyn! I love you!

Uh huh, I know, it's been a while since I've done much to the site (I wonder how many of you reading this actually visit the site often enough to know this...). Anywho, I just got done mowing the lawn and decided to do a quick update. I leave for Kentucky tomorrow for my cousin Alison's wedding. And check this: this is my first vacation where my girlfriend Robyn gets to come along. I'm really looking forward to this trip. Oh, and I had a spec-freaking-tacular 4th of July. I had Adam, Erika, and Robyn over the entire afternoon up until around 12:30 AM. We grilled hamburgers, played some music (piano and guitar), shot off fireworks, and walked to the lake to watch the fireworks show there. It was definitely my favorite 4th ever.

I just got back from a camping trip not too long ago with the Tenbrinks and the Finks. It was fun, as it is every year. I also got to play D&D for the first time in over year this past Sunday afternoon. Man, it was freaking awesome to play again. So yeah, anyway, Court is coming over and we're going to try to make some progress into our concert/musical thing. I'm really looking forward to developing the music and story. I'm just sorta rambling this time, in case you can't tell. Robyn is off at music camp, so I'm spending more time with friends I don't see as often this week: Court, Shawna, and hopefully Emily. It'll be a good week, especially since I get to see Robyn Saturday and watch her play her orchestra concert to top things off. Does anybody else like all the rain we've been getting where I live? I love it!

It's official: I still like my factory job. I've been working a lot lately on music for the Castle Song and the Hero Song, and I still need to show what I've come up with to Court. While I'm at work, I occasionally come up with more ideas for plot twists and development, along with some song ideas. I wish the days were longer so I'd be able to have more time to work on the music. I really enjoy doing this stuff more than I ever thought I would. I watched Big Fish twice in the last two days, both times with Robyn. You know, that movie is so freaking good, but I still think I like Vanilla Sky better... more like, I don't know. They're tied. One is extremely happy whereas the other one is extremely sad, so they're opposites, thus they're tied because I might like the other one more. It just depends on my mood. Enough rambling. Time for bed.

I've had my second day of work now. Let me tell you: factory work is tough, but I'm enjoying it so far actually. Hey, $9 an hour- I
have to like it. So anyway, my car's windshield got pelted by the hailstorm we had two nights ago. BASEBALL SIZE HAIL!
Tomorrow night is the Dashboard Confessional concert. I'm really looking forward to it. I didn't think I would be all that excited, but I'm looking forward to hearing him put on a show. Yeah, I guess the other bands before will be okay.................. I'm gonna try to get some website updates done within the next few weeks, so keep on eye out for new stuff!

For the record, Steven does not like to study.
Me neither...

Robyn's birthday party was yesterday... so was Joe's graduation party. Both were tons of fun. I mean, at Robyn's, even though my team lost, we were serious butt kickers at the word game we were playing (sorry, I can't remember it's name). Amy, Abbey, we rule!!! Haha, Robyn, Erika, Justine and Emme are all cheaters. That was a lot of fun guys. We'll need to play again sometime.
Well, as for real website news, I plan on making a video game section sometime soon. Be sure to check back for it sometime soon.
5-3-04
Finally, it's May, and the end of the freaking school year is within reach. I went over to Court's house this past Saturday and we recorded one song for a show he came up with. It was a lot of fun, especially since I'd never done anything like it before. I'll try to inform you later about what the show is all about. For now, let's just say it's a mixture of a musical and a concert.
