Badd Newz Preview
The debut edition of Badd Newz takes place tonight from the Pepsi Arena in Albany. The capital city of New York will be rocking as IN-AWE brings another great night of action. Headlining this night will be Steve Williams facing Konnan for the vacant International title. After scoring a simultaneous pin on Showdown Central, these two are looking to determine who the rightful champion is. But, the man they beat, the Patriot will be serving as guest referee, and he will be impartial, as by orders of Carmel Macklin, who has stated he will never receive another shot at the title if he shows bias either way. Also on Wednesday night, after the three destroyed Darkside Fury, Kane went and assaulted his partners Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger as well. CEO Eric Bischoff will be giving Hogan and Luger a chance at redemption as they'll face Kane in a triple threat match, but that means they'll have to fight each other as well to get to Kane. Will their egos allow them to stay on the same page? Silva and the Big Show formed a deadly alliance by taking out the biggest obstacle first, the 7-foot-plus Ron Reis. Will their path of rage continue, or will Reis be in any condition to combat their alliance? We learned Carmel Macklin is conspiring to get rid of Dennis Knight from IN-AWE by making him drop the Luzorweight title. But in order to do so, someone has to take a humiliating loss and be stuck with the Luzorweight title. Teddy Hart wasn't willing to take the fall, will Harry Smith be willing to make the sacrifice? Also, after surving another grueling elimination match, Glenn Gilberti has been granted a shot at Mark Canterbury's North American title. Speaking of which, Savio Vega may be champion right now if it weren't for Big Nelson. Now, Vega will get a chance at revenge against the monster in one-on-one action. Vega hasn't fared well against Nelson in the past, but that was also after Vega had already competed in three matches prior in the night? Will Nelson be any match for a fresh Vega? Axl Rotten has pulled off some wins over the Armstrong family this week, now he looks to move on to his forte, as he will challenge Mike Bell for the Extreme title? Bell has turned back several challenges for the belt, but he may have finally met his successor. All this and much more takes place tonight starting at 8pm ET only on LBC 2000:
