More Pictures of Suburban Sydney

Another picture of yours truly (hey, it is my homepage!). This photo was taken at Palm Beach, my favourite beach in Sydney. It's about 50km from the centre of Sydney, but worth every minute of the drive to go to such a beautiful and relatively unspoilt beach. In the background is beginning of the Central Coast, a beautiful area of beaches, lagoons and rivers north of Sydney. This picture was taken in 1997 before I came to Japan. All these pictures on this page was taken with my regular camera and then the photos were scanned and put into my computer. As a result, the clarity of these shots are not quite as good as the ones taken with my digital camera in the earlier Sydney pages.

A shot of the local neighbourhood around my parents' house. The big building in the background is Ryde TAFE College. This shot is pretty typical representation of the area that I grew up in.

Another shot of a different part of the Parramatta River, looking towards Putney Park.

A view from the Matthews Building in the University of New South Wales looking towards the eastern suburbs of Coogee and Maroubra.

St. Anne's Church at Top Ryde. This is one of the many local churches in my neighbourhood.
