Sydney

Sydney is probably one of the most naturally beautiful city in the world. By world standards, it is a fairly youthful city with a history of a little over 200 years. For my Aussie friends who have not lived overseas, you will never know how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful and green city. For my non-Aussie friends, I hope the pictures that I have included below and in the following pages will do justice to Sydney and give you a good idea what Sydney looks and feels like.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the two major symbols of Sydney.

The Opera House, the other major symbol of Sydney. As I love classical music, I have been to a few concerts in the Concert Hall of the Opera House. It is an experience to delight in. If you come and visit Sydney, make sure you try to fit in a concert or an opera here.

Circular Quay. The waterfront section of downtown Sydney and the nexus of all ferries.

A view of part of the Sydney skyline from the Royal Botanic Gardens. This is a very beautiful garden and one of my favourite parks in Sydney.
