Hi! My name is Faline! I was born and bred in a small town by Detroit, MI. When I was but a babe of 6 months my family moved to Hawaii. We lived on three of the islands, which ones I couldn't tell you. When I was about a year old, we came back to MI. I'm the youngest of four kids. I have a pilot sister, a mechanic brother, and a cook brother. We live all over the place. I recently moved down south to live with my DARLING cupcake, Josh, after college this year. I smoke. I drink. I stay out late and dance all night. I'm everything your mother's warned your brother's about. I like to swear, it makes life more amusing. I like to make pizzas, I'm not sure why yet. I like to listen to music, because music is the explanation of life. I like to go to museums and see all the sights. I've been writing for as long as I remember. The fan fiction aspect came along about eighth grade when I found this COOL stories on line on a site called the Mulder/Krycek Romantic Association. I showed them to my best friend and we were both hooked on fanfics. A bit young to be reading things like that you say? Nah. I read through most of the trashy romance novels in my town's library the year before and needed something new. I didn't actually WRITE a published fanfic until I was a Senior in High School. That's when The Student was born. Posted first on fanfiction.net, it was banned due to it's actor content. I was very heartbroken because it wasn't done at that point and I had no way to get it out people. And then Una came along. She'd read a few chapters on ff.net and asked me if I'd like to host it on her new site, Man In The Mirror. I checked out the site and was blown away by the first rate content and layout. Of course, I said yes. My Orlando fanfic has been hosted on her site every since and I'm a die-hard M.I.T.M. addict. Also around the time that ff.net kicked actor fics I started my own little Yahoo group, Orliefic. It's pretty dead now-a-day, having been replaced by more effective and amusing Yahoo! groups, but it's my baby and always will be. There are some challenges under the Fanfic header. Check them out! What do I do when I'm not writing? Well, for starters, I beat people up with foam on a stick. Yes, you heard me right. It's called Belegarth and it's the best group of people I've found on the entire planet. I love almost all of them to death. Imagine if you will, a sun dappled battle field. There are 150 people standing in a rough group around you. Across the field stand another 150. You know in your heart that they'd love nothing more than to stab you in the back. But you're not afraid. In your hands you hold a bow and a few arrows. Someone screams lay on and those that wish to kill you charge. You raise your bow and fire. Someone gets hit in the head and goes down. You give yourself a small pat on the back, figuratively of course, and remember that though one has fallen, there's still 149 left to go.
