| we experienced two phenomenons in zion: a rock slide and a lightning storm. we hiked, at times crawled, intrepidly to the famed angel's landing. we could almost see the entire park from the top. it was hot, humid, and hazy but the breeze kept us cool. we also hiked the river walk trail and waded briefly in the virgin river. ironically, the river had the color of gray water. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
