ID had finished the new fighter design, but what did Celeste care?
East Gate February 23
Celeste spoke into his comlink. "Team two. Do you copy?"
"This is team two. We copy."
"How is it coming with the security systems?"
"I just hooked up the computer. I'll begin the deactivation in a minute."
The leader of team two began pressing buttons on the small computer.
"I'm freezing the mainframe system. It's going offline in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Main
system offline." Celeste watched as the high lights flicked off. He also
knew that the motion sensors and pressure sensors were going offline.
"Good work team two. Notify me when you have an opening in the gate." A
moment later, "We have an opening."
"I'm coming over. You may enter." The men of team two silently creaped
across the grassy field. They were like dark panthers in the night. They
were heading for ID's office. Team two grouped up outside the door into
the room. They waited for Celeste
