The Impending Loom is hosted by three baritone sax playin' stout drinkin' hosers:  (from middle-R) Mike "Spidey" Deines, Tom "Doc" Delamere, and Matthew "Mic Control" Carter!  (pay no attention to the hoser on the left behind the iron curtain...)

The Loom is run as a perfect democracy, where everything Doc says, goes.  Each member gets to pick a song in turn, with no regard to style, genre, language, and more often than not, good taste.  Discussion is usually based around trying to make each other laugh so hard that we appear to be "passing kittens."  All in all, the Impending Loom is a great time where the hosts answer the question:  What is hip?
