Favorite Movies

Animated

Lilo & Stitch My list of favorite Disney movies is extensive, from Beauty and the Beast, to Aladdin, to The Little Mermaid, to Mulan, to The Lion King. And trust me, I own all of them... but if I were pressed to pick my one favorite Disney movie, Lilo & Stitch wins hands down. There's just something so endearing about Stitch's drive for destruction, Lilo's passion in the weird, and Stitch's search for "ohana... ohana means family... and family means nobody gets left behind."
Beauty and the Beast
The Little Mermaid
Aladdin
Toy Story
Monsters, Inc.
The Incredibles

Comedy

Pretty Woman Don't laugh! Just because it's superficial, predictable, and sappy, there's something compelling about this movie that makes me watch it again and again and again. Perhaps it's the idea of being whisked away on romantic adventures. Perhaps it's the lovable performance of Julia Roberts. Nevertheless, this movie is definitely one of my all-time favorites.
Princess Bride A definite must see! Everyone loves this movie!
Forrest Gump Creative, unique, and utterly adorable. Has Tom Hanks ever made a bad movie? Great for those who remember how to be young at heart.
American Wedding You'll laugh throughout the entire movie!
Charlie's Angels This movie is great for those moments when you just need a mindless inspirational movie about how GIRLS KICK BUTT!
Love Actually Endearing and well-scripted, with lots of unexpected twists and turns.

Drama

Saving Private Ryan The opening scene picturing D-Day always blows me away.
Castaway Can you see the list favoring Tom Hanks? Only Tom Hanks could pull off a 3-hour movie about a guy stranded on a deserted island.
Schindler's List
My Girl I've seen this movie numerous times... and every time, I still bawl my eyes out.

Oldies

Roman Holiday An absolute delight! This is the movie for the romantic at heart who dreams of racing through Rome on a scooter and believes Audrey Hepburn is the most beautiful lady who ever lived.

Breakfast at Tiffany's
Singing in the Rain
West Side Story
