Performance Dates:
Week 3: February 21 - 23 @ 8pm, February 24 @ 3pm
An old man is waiting alone in a hotel room when a young prostitute arrives. Initially the man's behavior is strange, even threatening, but the young girl is unintimidated. He implies his intentions for her might be considered deviant, but she assures him that a woman like her is unfazed by any request. He insists she wear a worn, out of date dress he has brought along, but then reveals her remaining task is simply to dance with him. As they sway to a Sinatra song, he admits the dress belonged to his wife, who is ill in a nursing home and no longer recognizes him. His confession of love and longing is the one thing the calloused young woman is unprepared for and, as they dance, she cries for what he has lost and what she has never known.

"The Rabbits"
Having recently been let go from her high powered job and a more recent
threat from her husband that he's going to seek sole custody of their
daughter, Debbie has to make her own second chance at a new life. And
she has to do it fast. The first step she takes is to quit smoking: but
it isn't going well. As a last resort, Debbie retreats underground. She
rides the subway all day just so she won't smoke. But this isn't working so well either; Debbie has started seeing Rabbits on the subway tracks.
Struggling to keep herself on the 'sane' side of the line Debbie meets
Andy. Andy needs a new beginning too, but resists with all her mind and
might. Andy says she's waiting on the subway platform to meet her
daughter. But is she really?
These two women from very different worlds find a way to help each
other, and most importantly, find a way to get rid of those rabbits.

"No Diamonds in the Crabgrass"
The years that followed 9/11 remind us of stories of bravery and sacrifice; loss of life, love and while some tales include overcoming tremendous difficulties, for others there was a dim hope for the future. This is the story of a husband and wife who, while they did not lose each other on that day, could not understand and or communicate their own pain to each other. Their subsequent feelings of worthlessness and guilt; their inactivity and ultimate selfishness become a corruptive force in their own family implosion.
This story is about a husband who could not be a hero and a wife who felt excluded from the 9/11 widow's club, and because of this they became lost and ultimately lost everything they valued dear post 9/11.

"Bite Your Tongue"
We're all for free speech until we talk about what it is. When students in a Political Science class spell it out, the idea seems to be too risky to accept. Antagonism builds as one student tries to set new rules, until everyone, including the instructor, considers abandoning that freedom.
