The foam had started to harden and break off in areas of large flex and moisture(Picture 1). A latex foam was applied and smoothed over the damaged areas (Picture 2). Since the skin of the suit had a texture, part of the original mold was used to create a thin layer of latex "skin" to be grafted over the patched areas. The "skin" patches were smoothed onto the suit and painted to match the original color scheme (Pictures 3 & 4). More pictures to come in the next few weeks!
