THE SOUL __
We have a loving, merciful Creator who sent His Son to show us the way. We have His Word to follow. We have the works of Christians living and dead, to model our lives and our Creator gave us the Holy Spirit living within us. (Rom 8:11) to guide us everyday. He gave us prayer for a direct line of communication. And, He gave us a single reason for being here: to worship Him.
THE MIND __ (Phil 4: 8)
God gave us minds. We are to use them. He gave us intelligence, common sense, the ability to reason, to make choices and decisions. We must use these gifts to refuse false teachings, false prophets, solicitations for support for pompous, Earthly causes. Don�t question the Faith; question the motive. Don�t hate the sinner. That�s too easy. Hate the sin. We are charged with using our minds to the fullest. With Spiritual maturity __ should come wisdom, tolerance and compassion. And, though we are to seek and study, it is never our place to judge others. Further, we are charged with a clear responsibility to control all our own thought processes. There is an on-going confrontation going on in each of our minds and hearts. Make no mistake, this Spiritual warfare is real. (I Peter 5: 8) The final outcome might determine where some will spend eternity. If the forces for evil win this war, the Holy Spirit leaves, one�s Soul is lost and its just a matter of short earthly time until one�s mind and body are totally and forever destroyed.
