After tremendous success in Denver, Huston, Orlando, London, Sydney, Singapore, and other giant screen theaters across the globe, the 10th International Film Festival Award winning Movie "Mystic India" is in Chicago. The BAPS Care International in Chicago, IL hosted a spectacular premiere of the film "Mystic India" with children dressed in traditional Indian attire welcoming viewers. The premiere was held at the giant Cinemark IMAX Theatre in Woodridge, IL on April 1st, 2006. Over 250 high dignitaries such as members of Congress, celebrities, business executives, government offices along with other eager audience of all ages and background walked down a red carpet to the entrance, kids clad in ornate costumes ushered them into the theatre. The 45-minute documentary captures the beauty and mysticism of India in a way never seen here on screen before. The film, which is the world's first large-format epic on India, explores the history and culture of the country through the eyes of Neelkanth, a young yogi who lived over 200 years ago as he walked 8,000 miles throughout India.

South Asian Student Association representatives took part in the event as volunteers. "This was a great opportunity for us to give back to the community," said President Arpit Patel.

"This movie is even better than going to India, because u can see all of India in all of its glory." expressed Rajiv Khatau.
