Chapter 4
Amy looked on her watch, it was already 2 hours later and she was still at Abs house. She felt bad about it, she didn't knew them before today but they acted towards her like they knew her whole her life. It was just...they were really nice, but she kinda felt like an intruder.
She looked up when the doorbell rang... and rang, and rang. It sounded like someone was in a hurry to come inside. She smiled when she heard Abs yell.
" I'm coming, I'm coming"
Right...like someone could hear him.
She looked to Abs running out of the room and turned towards Scott. She was surprised when he was staring at her. She was just about to say something to him when she heard another voice.
" What is SHE doing here?"
She was surprised to see Abs, J, Ritchie and Sean, but she wasn't paying attention to anyone except for Sean, he was talking like she was some dangerous disease and that did really hurt. She just wanted to say that she could go away if he wanted but Abs didn't give her the change.
" I invited her in MY house Sean, and if you don't like that you can go"
He sounded angry to Sean and Amy felt bad, she didn't want to cause a fight between the two friends.
" No Abs, there is no need to let him go away, I'll go, it's time to go home anyway"
She realized that she better could have kept her mound shut when Abs turned towards her.
" No Amy, you're staying, you're not going to let Sean get it his way, he's being unfair towards you and I'm not going to let that happen"
She looked scared to Abs and Sean, this wasn't getting any good. She felt really bad at the moment Sean and Abs began to yell at each other, she knew how Sean could get when he was angry and that wasn't any good.
She looked surprised when Scott took her hand and walked to the balcony, followed by J and Ritchie, who closed the door behind them. She looked scared and unsure to them, she didn't get a thing of what was going on.
" Amy, relax and sit down, this isn't something you wanna be with right now"
She looked confused, weren't they going to stop Abs and Sean?
" But what? How? Who?"
She didn't came out of her words, she was too worried.
" Shh, this isn't the first time they fight, let them act stupid, they'll make it up afterwards"
She didn't look to sure about it, but they probably knew the best.
" And don't worry about what Sean said, he acts stupid when he cares for someone"
She looked strange to them, what do they mean by that?
" How do you mean?"
" We know everything of you... no offence, but why do you think Abs let you sleep in his bed? Why do you think we invited you for dinner?"
" But how?"
Sean really cares for you and he was really hurt when he found out about your job, even more when you didn't stop it"
Amy blushed and looked down.
"Sorry to ask, but we have to: are you going to write about this?"
She looked the boys in the eyes, they all looked really serious.
" No! I don't work there anymore, but even if I did, I wouldn't write about something like this"
She saw Abs and Sean in the doorway, but she ignored them.
" That's good to hear! Where do you work now?"
She blushed...again
" Nowhere..."
The boys were silence for a while when Abs walked towards her.
" How long are you already without work?"
" 6 months..."
" Well, if we could do something for you, we have the connections you know"
" That's really sweet, but I don't want your help, I would feel bad about it, especially since my last job"
Everybody was silence again, each in their own thought
" Amy?"
She looked surprised to Sean, she didn't expect him to say something to her.
" Can I talk to you... private?"
" Yeah..."
