Fat Joe- J.O.S.E.: Watching Fat Joe progress into the rapper that he is today is very refreshing to see. As a member of D.I.T.C./Wildlife, he is one of the most respected artists in hip hop today. Many people think that Joe was going to quit after Big Pun died, Triple Seis and Cuban Link left the Terror Squad, and the death of his grandmother. But man, were we worng! This album is banging from front to back. "We Thuggin" featuring R. Kelly is as hot as any song right now on the radio or in the club. This song really propels the new listener into what Joe can do on a hot beat. Don't expect the rest of the album to be like the single though, as Joe keeps it str8 gangsta till the end. Songs like the title track, "King Of NY", and "Wildlife" all showcase Joe's lyricall fitness on the mic. Remy Martin, Prospect and Armageddon really impressed me with their guest appearances. Add another artist like Tony Touch and Terror Squad could be making noise once again. Even with appearances from Xzibit, Ja Rule, Busta, Noreaga and more, this is still Fat Joe's time to shine. Time to make room Jay Z and Nas, their is another MC that wants his place on the throne. 9.6 OUT OF 10

Nate Dogg- Music & Me: 2001 will go down as the most successful for the DPGC. More albums have dropped from the crew this year than any other year. They are becoming more business-like and independent as well. Nate Dogg is a perfect example. This album is completly different than Nate's first album. This album just is overall much better. Nate seemed to sing to slow and change his style in his first album,,, but this is the Nate that we are all so used to. This album just seems a lot more smooth with those g-funk beats thats the first album lacked. If you love Nate Dogg but didnt really like his first album then give him one more chance,,, I had worries that Nate couldnt be a good solo artist, but he erased all doubts here. Great album. Best tracks are "I Got Love" (and the remix is blazing too), "Music+Me", "Keep It Gangsta", and "Concrete Streets". 8.5 OUT OF 10

Outkast- Greatest Hits: Simply one of the greatest Rap cd's of this decade. Slick production, masterful beats, and a wide range of lyrical styles to suit every taste. Has a very smooth laid back feeling. Would recommend this both new and old fans of Outkast. Not only a great rap cd, but great cd period. Most consistent recording I've heard in the last year for quality and number of great tracks. No one hit wonders to be found here. I'd recommend this in a heartbeat. A perfect album, for greatest hits standards. 10 OUT OF 10
