He began his Project Badge on Illalangi in June 2002. This badge forms part of the Baden Powell Scout Award, the highest youth award in Scouts Australia
Patrick's interest in Illalangi stems back to when he used to camp there as a Scout in the 2nd/6th Mordialloc Scout Group. Now, as a Rover, Patrick wishes to repair damage done to the site with the help of his friends and promote its use for other scouts.

On the weekend of 14th till 16th June 2002, Sarah and Andrea (another Venturer in her Unit) conducted a World Environment Badge Camp for Kingston District Scouts. This also earned them their Queen's Scout Environment Badges.
Currently Sarah is preparing a new badge logo for the campsite and a signpost for the entrance. Pictures of her work will be uploaded soon (hint hint Sarah).
