| This is a really good sequel which carries on the idea of children killing the adult population but this one is very different to the first. It is about what happened after the events in the first film and the bodies of all the adults have been discovered by the police. Danny (played by the very blond Paul Scherrer) goes with his father (Terrence Knox), a struggling journalist, to get the big story and find out what really went on in the town. But they get involved in more than they bargined for, unlucky sods!! The children of Gatlin are taken into the homes of the people from the next town, Hemingford. But the children have not learnt their lessons and they carry on Issac's work with the help of a new mentally unstable, freak of a leader, Micah, who is just as loony as Issac but a bit taller! This one has lots of funny deaths and is still very freaky, although it does not have Malachai in it! Boo hoo! Micah does a good job as the new boss in town. He has some corker lines which are just as mad as Issac's ramblings. And his dress sense is just as bad. Look out for the scene in the church as it has to be a classic cotc scene! Cotc 2 is just as brilliant as the original. Danny and his little girlfriend Lacey (what a name but it's true! played by the sexy Christie Clark) are quite hilarious, bless them and not just because they have funny names. And there's a great bit where they're in the corn field together. You'll have to go and watch it to see what I mean! |

| Info on the COTC book! (in case you want to read the words of what happens in Gatlin by Mr Stephen King himself): |
| It took me ages to find out which Stephen King book the COTC story is actually in. I knew it was from a collection of his short stories but I didn't know the title of it. In the end I found out and got the book myself. The story is only about 30 pages long and they've made 7 films out of it! I will warn you that the story is very different and Issac and Malachai are hardly mentioned; it is mainly about Vicky and Burt. But it's a great story. Anyway the title is...drum roll please...oy I said drum roll...Night Shift. There's a pic of the front cover below. |
| Well here's my new COTC page which is devoted entirely to the second installment of cotc. Originally I had cotc 1&2 on the same page but then I put some new pictures onto my site and it looked so cluttered that I thought what the hell, cotc 2 deserves its own page.
