Background: A Quija board is supposed to be able to communicate with the dead. It normally has letters, numbers, goodbye, yes, and no on it although it may have more. how to work it is simple, whoever you are doing it with, if anybody, should put your hands on the planchette, the triangluar thing. Ask if anyone is there. If you suspect someone is pushing it, have that person sit out for a while and see if it comes up with the same results.
An easy way to make one: If you're crafty, design your own. Otherwise, write all the things mentioned abouve on a piece of paper. Arrange them however you want. Put glass on top, it will make your planchette move smoothly. Cut a triangular shape out of something like paper and cut a hole in the center. Wala-- a quija board. Aren't you proud?
