99. William WALLER was born in Jun 1714. He was a Lawyer in 1736 in Carolina Courts. He served in the military in Nov 1737. His rank was Capt. of a troop of horse and on July 4, 1749 qulified to his commission as Colonel of horse. He died on 10 Jan 1760. He Resided in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. He was a man of considerable distinction in the life of his county. In 1745 he became a member of the Vestry of St. George's Parish and was a representative from Spotsylvania County in the House of Burgesses 1742-1753 and 1758-1759. He was a surveyor of the county and succeeded his brother Edmund Waller, as third Clerk of Spotsylvania County in 1751, holding this office until his death.

He inherited the "Newport" Estate in Spotsylvania after the death of his mother.

He was married to Anne Stanard BEVERLY on 12 Jun 1738. Anne Stanard BEVERLY(5) (4) was born in 1716. She died in 1756. William WALLER and Anne Stanard BEVERLY had the following children:
