One of the most noble forms of Persian 
literature is poetry. Iranians highly value their
 poetswho kept their culture and language
 alive even during numerous invasions. Persian poetry is as ancient as Avesta (the holy book
 of Zoroastrians).

With nearly 11 million inhabitants (one sixth
of the country's total population in less than 18956 square kilometers, Tehran is the country's most densely populatedprovince. The district of Tehran is the most populatedin the province and in the country.

The early history of man in Iran goes back
well beyond the Neolithic period, it begins to
get more interesting around 6000 BC, when
people began to domesticate animals and
plant wheat and barley.

Plateau of Iran enjoys a relatively dry climate.
Iran is situated in the global arid belt and alborz
and Zagross mountain chains trap the humidity
& air currents of the Caspian Sea and Mediterranean preventing their penetration to the inner parts.
