THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Note verses 6-9, a time of peace and absolute safety. The time described certainly doesn't exist today, not yet!  In verse 10 (read the whole verse) it speaks of it as being a time of HIS REST! 

Now look closely at verse 11 where it says "And it shall come to pass in that day..."  and in the rest of that verse and following verses is a description of JUDAH's return to Jerusalem (note He did not say all of Israel, but one tribe, that being JUDAH or the Jews; also there's mention of the building of the Suez Canal in verse 15). 

"In that day" is when God says it would begin.  Remember, to God a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day (see 2 Peter 3:8 which gives us an indication of how patient He is---giving us AMPLE warning and time to repent before He Executes Judgment). 

In that day, as in "in the midst of that day"; quite frankly we are living in that day, if you do as God does and count a thousand years as a day; and the sun is about to set.

Notice, how in accordance to the Roman calendar used by the world, the cliche "the new Millenium" is always thrown around. If the time of Christ's birth was properly researched, it could be found that the year 2000 (which is supposed to be based upon it being 2000 years after Christ) is yet to arrive, but is quite close; thus the day is not done, YET!

In this day, Judah has returned to Jerusalem, as it is written.  That occurrence is another sign of Christ's Coming and that time began shortly after when? The end of World War Two...and the beginning of the age of MASS DESTRUCTION.

Look at Joel 2:21-32 and read it carefully.  See verses 21-29 and what it describes?  Now notice verses 30-32:  it establishes what immediately precedes (comes before) that time.  Remember, the times described in verses 21-29 are directly in line with what was described in the other scriptures we looked in the previous paragraphs, and the time described in verses verses 30-32 are the times talked about in the chapters in Revelation prior to Revelation 19.  Notice that in Joel 2:24 it shows that every one is blessed with plenty.

Now, there may be those who think that all of the above scriptures describe a time of Zionism.  If you read the scriptures carefully, and also read related scriptures, you will find that these times are just before the Return of and during the Reign of the King.  None else can bring in such a time of peace safety and prosperity. That time is the beginning of the true KINGDOM OF GOD!
