Iowa Coronation XIII
It was a great weekend to see Emperor Greg and Empress Rachel step down after a long year of hard work.  Congratulations to the both of them as well as the newly elected monachs, Emperor James and Empress Iris.  I look forward to wroking with the two of them over the coming months.
I was finally able to make it through an ENTIRE Out-Of-Town Show without any little issues. (Ask me about that one later.)  The Garden is a great bar and the bartenders took good care of us.  It was a blast to chat with Nina and Rachel in the dressing room prior to the show.  BTW, Rachel, you left a few pads stuck to the railing.
Coronation day I enjoyed running around with Mr DC's Mark, Feleena, Michelle, and Jennifer Jett picking up a few last minute things before the evenings festivities. (Note to self: If it sparkles, Jenn will be attracted to it!  LOL!)  The evening went without any problems as Nebraska shined in it's usual fashion.  In attendance from Reign XXV were Ladies to the Court Ericka Daelin and Ms Juanita, Lords to the Court, Barry Marcus Beard and Junior, Baron and Baroness Matt and Susan, Czarina Mystic DeLight,
Prince and Princess Jeremy and Marsha Mellow, Prince Royale and Princess Royale Thomas and Jennifer Jett, Emperor Dan Knobbe and Myself.  Also in attendance from Nebraska were, Randy, Bradley, Michael Corey, Muffy Rosenberg, Montana, Trina Tabloid, Michele Korman, Paco Perez, Feleena Katz, Annette Moeller, And More, Bruce Bufkin, Don Randolph, Monroe, Paul Luckhurst, Andrew Janzen and Michael Lyons.  It was also good to run into friends such as Erica LaRue, Ruby, India, and many others.
I look forward to working with the new Monarchs and returning to Iowa for Coronation XIV in 2006.

Slap The Thigh, Ride The Wave II
While I had to work this night, Slap the Thigh, Ride the Wave II was a great susccess for victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Red Cross.  In usual Lady D'Vore style, Comedy was used to help ease the pain of the recent disaster that devistated the south.  Congratulations, Lady, on a fabulous show.

Miss Gay Omaha 17
I had a ball judging the Miss Gay Omaha Pageant with fellow judges, Dan Ostergard, Roxy, Phoenix and Jeff McKenzie.  After the male interview, all judges were at a loss as to who was going to win.  That evening, competition was excellent and we were happy to crown Holly Day as Miss Gay Omaha 17.

Goth Ball @ Club NICO
You ever agree to do something having absolutely NO idea what you are getting yourself into?  Well, Prince Royale, Thomas, Empress XX, Feleena and myself did exactly that when we agreed to do security for a dungeon at Club NICO's Goth Ball.  We didn't even get a cocktail in our hands that night before young girls were asking to have their picture taken with us and tips on how to get their hair to stand so high!
The night was a wonderful expreience for all of us.  Feleena and myself took to the dance floor to help get the evening started, Thomas stopped thrill seekers from crowding the dungeon space and I even allowed Ricky to flog my on the main stage!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Theatre
Prince Royale XXV, Thomas, turned the DC's dance floor into one of the funnest theatres we'd seen in a long time.  Complete with a 9foot by 15 foot screen, concession stand and stage.  Guests recieved a prop bag with all things needed to make the Rocky experience complete including toast, water gun, cards, confetti, party hats and newspapers.  Set-up for the event was done in record time with help from Lord to the Court-Junior, Baron-Matt, Czarina-Mystic DeLight, Princess-Marsha Mellow, Event Coordinator-Michele Korman, Empress XX-Feleena Katz, Prince Royale-Thomas, myself and several other friends.
The night started slow with a showing of Vincent Price's "House on Haunted Hill" followed by "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".  10 minutes into the movie, we were pulling additional seating int othe theatre to accommodate all our guests.  After consulting those manning the various areas, we concluded we had approximately 60 people participating in the event.
A big thanks goes out to Empress XX Feleena, for keeping the popcorn popping in the concession stand.  Prince "Christauf" for taking the tickets, Princess Marsha Mellow for running little errands, Czarina Mystic Delight for cocktailing and all those who showed up to support the event which raised money for Michele's Fund.  Plans are already underway for next years show!

Food 4 Thought
Entertainers gathered to help raise money for Thanksgiving food vouchers for persons affected by HIV/AIDS.  Along with local titleholders, the annual ICON event brought in royalty from Iowa and Minnesota.
The evening was a success with over $3,000.00 being raised for this worthwhile cause.
