Can you imagine being a nationally renowned child prodigy, at the tender age of thirteen? There's pride, lingering fame, and a late deception of being superior to everyone. That's what drove Ichijouji Ken to the edge and back on a round trip ticket with insanity. And such was accompanied by the fact he thought he killed his brother, ruined his parents' ambissions .. everything. Even after the darkness that plagued Dejitarusei has been beaten, der Dejital Kaiser still lurked in the orifices of this child's conscious mind. No worries, Ken won't scream. Too loud.
Ken's alter-ego was the Dejimon Kaiser, German for emperor, of Dejitarusei. He was malignant, cruel, heartless -- any insulting adjective you can think of. His reign was harsh, the partner to the back of one iron-clad fist (or a whip, rather) - as a prime example of how absolute power does corrupts absolutely. After viewing his loving and kind-hearted Dejimon die at the hands of his blind destruction - der Kaiser within Ken was gone. Or was he? He was revealed as the sixth Chosen Child of one Motomiya Daisuke's group of Chosen Children, bearing a crest and dejivice all his own. Kindness he possessed, ironically, despite previous atrocities. And his saga continues, as Ken travels to realms once forgotten; fear, pain, and of course .. love.
