capitalism: so here's some more evidence supporting all that hum-bug about the connection between ryo, ken, and daisuke. each of those can also classify as uncanny coincidences, mind you, and could possibly contradict a portion of what as already been said. so please just go with it - i'm not a scientist, after all. when veemon first makes a scene, in the first episode of the second season, Agumon is oh-so-polite enough to give the audience some background information about said dejital monster. first of all, veemon happens to be one that brings luck wherever he may tred; and, of course, loves to seek any sort of adventure. and i know you're all "so what?"; but ryo and his dejimon probably sought out many escapades during their misadventures in the dejital world with ken and wormmon. second of

all, pertaining to the same episode, veemon says something quite peculiar when he's allowed freedom from the dejital egg of courage by daisuke. "free at last!" really, quilongmon or some other powerful dejimon may have shoved him there for the soul purpose of ending up daisuke's dejimon - or perhaps, because he would be freed whenever ryo finally came back from his long-awaited absence. that kind of makes sense. the third oddity for such the theory as this is that agumon was astounded when he saw veemon, proclaiming he thought the dejimon was only a mere legend. ryo, around the internet and such, has been referred to as some sort of "legend" .. so possibly veemon was dubbed the same, had that been ryo's dejimon; sealed away for all time to preserve his livelihood until he was called on once more. mushrooms: well, i finally unearthed the whole reasoning behind the dark seed thing that is a more infamous aspect of ken's former life in dejitarusei. the entire ryo and ken arc is hinted at in the episodes, although it truly spawns from the "tag tamers" game, as seen on the wonderswan console in japan. the storyline consists of how you play as either ryo or ken in dejitarusei (although they do travel with one another, you can only keep playing as one per game), and you must go about and defeat the classical bad guy. in this point in time, the baddie justly appears to be millenniumon. you, or they, eventually defeat said evil "dejimon god," and all is grand. except for the fact that just as he finally is destroyed, millenniumon released a huge cloud of dark spores - a final, and last ditch effort at destroying the dejital world .. or just plain getting back at ryo and ken for their insolence. the attack is aimed at ryo, as seen in the episodes, but it just so happens that ken enacts to push him away; taking his "hit" in the process. whether they mention that part in the end of tag tamers, is what i do not know, although they insinuate such a fact in the episodes. for american audiences, most would believe oikawa/vamdemon is the whole conspirator in the deal - but he probably just made use of a "good" thing, which the seeds in ken, and decided he would use the fortunate demise of another for his own intentions. what a meanie.
dubious: just look at that picture to your right, and if you haven't seen that episode, you'll probably be musing about what the hell is going on. i found that screen shot and others just the same a few weeks before said scene, and it filled me with the most twisted of joys. here's your little spoiler alert, peoples, so if you haven't seen it yet - i personally would not read much further. this is from ken's little dream sequence, induced by the belialvamdemon and his attack of darkness. the fellow dejital destined children dreamt of a variety of things; a sunlit afternoon in a peaceful park, to eating a a few tons of cake without smiting siblings around to take it. ken's fantasy was anything but happy and joyous, at least in the very beginning, as he watched, horror-filled,

while kaiser was given a beating by some disgruntled dejimon out for the tyrant's blood. after he had been, well, deleted in a spray of obsidian - the emperor's partially broken puce 'shades flew into the air. and moments later, they struck the desert of this dream realm in an almost vicious fashion, signifying the end. ken continued to be quite mollified, as words could not do his expression justice for what he had just witnessed. all of that changed as osamu bent downward - seemingly out of nowhere at all, and picked up those fallen saffron frames. he did glance at them in an almost thoughtful manner, before turning his gaze toward a distraught brother. and their conversation pertained to how he wished ken would stay with him, away from all the outside pain and such influences of the real world .. and ken would have probably taken him up on such an offer, had wormmon not appeared to show that the dream was not a reality. the connection between ken, osamu, and the kaiser gave me the chills as i watched - and thusly the sight of osamu with those glasses made me believe that ken associated his invisible enemy with his brother. or maybe his subconscious knew more than one would think; in his desires for what he truly wanted, osamu and that despot were conjoined to appear associated. can you believe it? there's also the fact of those irridescent bubbles floating about ken and osamu's heads - a subconscious connection of his brother teaching him how to blow bubbles to the image of his brother. and thus, with the appearance of one tortured kaiser in his dreams, it would appear that osamu and the despot are related to one another.

step lightly: here is another simple history lesson, although it is basically used to prove that the wonderswan course of history and the general anim are not the same. when the american dejidestined michael visits dejitarusei with a bright mimi - they have a discussion about how everyone was exposed to some sort of dejimon activity. in this case, michael saw a gorillamon. cody was in the downed plane, and saw metalgarurumon and wargreymon flying overhead - while daisuke was being held hostage with his family by the bakemon. miyako didn't have any sort of experience that summer, although

she sent many e-mails during the diaboromon battle. that took place around four or so years ago. myotismon possessed oikawa just after that, since that's when he was up and about in tokyo. osamu died sometime after oikawa was possessed - because he was at the funeral, leering and such at young-ken. wonderswan information claims that ken and ryo were great friends in the real world -- and one day, a veemon happens to pop out of the computer, and beg them for help. so they go. in the show-version, ken goes to the 'world after touching "osamu's" dejivice, and not because he goes with ryo. in fact, the game also claims that ryo and ken saw the entire parrotmon (or whatever) versus greymon incident at heighton view terrace. see more on the next page about this.
