Does Placebo really need an introduction? Well there most be someone who doesn't know of Placebo. Well they're a London based band, quite big in Europe I guess. Here in Canada and the U.S they are not too popular, because we have our share of depressing, and odd music. I think that Placebo is so much more different then anything you can find anywhere, even the "I've seen it all" North American countires. Brian Molko(the lead singer) has explained Placebo's music as "Punk pop for postponed suicides", I agree. Placebo's music is great, it's weird, the writing sometimes makes no sense the first time you hear it, but it grabs hold of you any ways, then you hear it again and it starts to make sense, in till you understand fully what is being taught through the music. Well,I think that this is even of an introduction. |
