Glamorous Audrey
For all you lovers of high fashion out there, this page is especially for you.  In a ball scene Audrey, as a princess, reigns supreme with a beautiful, flowing gown that truly steals the spotlight.  It's only natural that the look is so easy to replicate today.  Sure, at first glance, you may be a little daunted by the elegance of the look.  But don't fear; all that you need, you can find online. During this time of year, there is an overabundance of those websites dedicated to prom dresses.  On these sites, there are enough poufy dresses where finding a near match to Audrey's is simple.  See the Credits Page for more info.  For now, look at the instructions below.
To get the glamorous look:
-find a full ballgown, with an off-the-shoulders design
-if finding an off-the-shoulder gown is not an option, simply go for a strapless design (you can always add a cute matching shawl)
-add crinolines, if necessary, for a fuller look
-the dress should be past the ankles, but barely touching the floor (no trains, please!)
-the top of the gown should be fitted, almost in a corset-style
-even though the film is not in color, the dress was definitely white.  For extra glamour, go for a white dress with gold accents.
-add some royal touches with a pin that looks like it might suggest aristocracy (no cat pins with google eyes! This is not the look for
that kind of pin)
-finish with flats that either have a satin or sparkle finish (the gown is long, so no one will see much of the shoes)
