| In Roman Holiday, Audrey played a princess who wants to get away from it all. After she is given a sedative by the royal doctor, she sneeks off into the night, only to fall asleep outside, where she is discovered by a handsome American journalist, played by Gregory Peck. After going through some rough moments, the two fall in love. But Audrey's character remembers her sense of duty, and the two must part. This movie is the epitome of forbidden love. To this day, I wish the two had just ran off together. But, i suppose everything happens for a reason.
