Andy got his first kit when he was eight years old. He started to get
serious about it when he was about 13/14 years old, practise whilst
listening to the Police, 10cc and ELO amongst others and banned from
playing the drums at school (B******s). He then bought his present 7 piece
kit (Tama swingstar) when he was 18 and has expanded his kit since then to
include percussion and sticks! amongst other things to hit! 
He then got into some serious practise (playing along to his neighbors banging on the walls.) Andy started gigging in cover bands (playing, as he says 60's and 70's crap) but also getting paid for it. He was then involved with forming his own band (Lupin Curtains) but to no avail. He took an unconscious break when his children (Jade and Amber) came along and reckons he lost the plot for a while (again), until one day,
whilst visiting his step sister and playing a kit in her garage, a strange head (Seb) appeared around the doorframe and said "Ah ah! You play drums? You wanna be in a band?" The rest, as they say, is ICENI history. Andy's personal favorites include the Police and Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, Genesis, Ride, Stone Roses, and many many more.
