Team News Archives 8-9 to 8-15
All Bats-- make sure you read the message I forwarded to you about The AHA's "skate at the X" opportunity. We can't register as a team, it has to be done individually by sending an E-mail to [email protected] on Saturday the 14th starting at 10 AM. If you send a message earlier than that, you won't be registered. The signups are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and the scrimmage is on August 21. Don't forget to sign yourself up if you're interested.
Message board should be up and running. Give it a shot and let me know if you have problems. Also finished updating the links on the "roster" page. If any of the men in the "farm system" are friends of yours, have them check out the website and send me their pertinent information so I can update their names and keep their contact info in the books.
I think the site is beginning to take shape. I hope everything is working for the rest of you. I'm working on a handout for the August 19th practice which will let everyone know how much it costs to play AHA hockey (registration, equipment, ice time, jerseys). I've put the basics on the site for those of you who are thinking about joining our team. Click here to read more. Other than that, let me know if you have any questions or comments.
Website construction continues. I had to remove the pictures to keep under our data transfer limits. I haven't had a chance to create pages for each of the players, so don't bother clicking on the links in the "roster" section yet, you'll just get an error message.
This is the space where you'll be able to find notes of interest about the team including game recaps, notices, administrative-type items, etc. I hope to create a team message board where we can maintain team discussion without clogging up our E-mail boxes, but I've got to do a bit of research as to how I go about creating one. Shouldn't be too difficult. For now, though, this should do, provided all of the links are functional.
