Factoids: Ian's hair really isn't like that.
The blood? Vimto mostly and lots of it.
Colin provided a Goldfinger poster to give the station the 1963 feel.
David Fletcher drew a specially comissioned cover for the second time.
Colin isn't the guy out of Men in Black.
A wheelchair was used for a lot of tracking shots.
Tasha, didn't win any awards for her part, though she was word perfect.
Ominous Dialogue: "I'm sure trouble will find us soon enough"
Annus Horribilis Dialogue: " I want your newspaper."
I love nobody in particular because:
Well everyone seems to be going through the motions. I mean, 2 pro actors in the cast, but its hard to say which ones.  I suppose if I fall for anyone here, its that unsung hero, Mike Hardman, who had to go into overdrive here to produce all the video effects required by the Director.
Made in: 1996 (widescreen?)
Personal View by Ian Taylor.
What I remember most about this film, is that long, long day on a localle that was not the most exciting bt any means. I also remember a very fraught John, who was in the directorial seat for the first time, trying to keep control of a particularly "high" Colin, and a crew who, didn't really seem that bothered. A nigh on impossible task.
I was in control of the
sound on this one, and found it useful not to look at the scene, but just to listen to it. That way, any slight glitch can be heard.
There was pushing this bleeding wheel chair up and down
the platforms (but it made a nice seat to take in lunch!) and there was the fluffy pink mic on a huge pole which kept getting in the way.
      I suppose I had a bit of a
resentment about the project. We were a group, who had started on Glad You're Not Here, prior to some of us going on holiday, and when we returned, Bloodline was in the making, which we didn't even know about!
I felt it was bad enough making one film at a time let alone two, and things were never really the same after that. Personal opinion only, it doesn't bother me now.
The Bottom Line: Well, we'd seen it all before. Theme, location, and far less confusing. There are lots of technical tricks, but they don't make up for the fact that there is very little story, which is told badly, by people who seem not to care. Made at a time when a number were going through personal problems, its a rather forgettable entry despite its classy look. Glad its only 15 mins...
